Uganda and DR Congo join forces to fight a common enemy

Tanzania’s Abdulrazak Gurnah wins 2021 Nobel Prize for literature

The Nobel prize for literature has been awarded to the Tanzanian-born novelist Abdulrazak Gurnah. His work focuses on colonialism and the fate of refugees. Iran nuclear programme: UN watchdog chief holds talks

The head of the UN nuclear watchdog has returned from talks in Tehran with an agreement that nuclear inspectors will be allowed to service monitoring equipment in Iran’s nuclear sites. Shanghai cancels flights as Typhoon In-Fa lashes eastern China

Two international airports in the Chinese city of Shanghai have cancelled all flights and authorities banned outdoor activities as Typhoon In-Fa lashed eastern China with high winds and heavy rains. In-Fa landed in the Putuo district of the city of Zhoushan, a major port in the eastern province of Zhejiang, at 12:30pm (04:30 GMT) on Sunday, state broadcaster CCTV said, citing the China Meteorological Administration.
