Russia says 20 civilians were injured in the shelling of the town of Volnovakha, in the southern part of Ukraine’s Donetsk region. Russian-installed officials in the occupied town say it was shelled by six to 10 HIMARS. Volnovakha was taken by Russian forces last year. Ukraine’s flood-ravaged Kherson has been hit by Russian rockets for the first time. This comes as the head of the United Nations atomic watchdog has inspected the nuclear plant in the neighbouring Zaporizhia region.
