Niger coup leader proposes three-year transition to civilian rule

Niger’s coup leader has proposed a three-year transition to civilian rule after meeting a delegation of West African leaders and warned that any attack on the country would “not be a walk in the park” for those involved. Pakistan mosque bomber wore police uniform: Police chief

Ministers and intelligence officials in the Pakistani city of Peshawar have reviewed security days after a massive attack inside a police compound. Investigators say the suicide bomber managed to get in as he was wearing a uniform. He detonated his explosives inside a mosque where policemen had gathered for prayers.
