Africa debt relief: Putin makes announcement at final day of summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told leaders from African states meeting in St. Petersburg, Moscow is forgiving 23-billion-dollars of debt owed by them. Putin is also promising to maintain grain supplies to the continent and to increase Russia’s diplomatic presence. Shelling in Zaporizhzhia region: Russian journalist killed near front line

A Russian journalist has been killed during shelling attack in southern Ukraine. RIA News Agency reporter Rostislav Zhuravlev was covering a story in a frontline village in Zaporizhzhia region.
