A digital crackdown by Myanmar’s military government on protesters’ online presence is intensifying.
First Facebook, now Twitter and Instagram are blocked for users in the country.
But, that has not deterred people from joining a growing civil disobedience movement against Myanmar’s generals.
They seized power in Monday’s military coup and overthrew Aung San Suu Kyi who is now under arrest.

The people of Myanmar need & must flood the streets in the same way that was witnessed in the Philippines some years ago when president Marcos was overthrown….the streets were jam packed with citizens & nothing could move….when the military is overthrown then the citizens can hand out their own laws & punishment to them….punishment of their choice.
In this modern days, the world is silence with no justice while the killers “Min Aung Hlaing” is still free while victims are mourning. When and by who is this justice be served?. Surely will not come from Aung San SUU KYi, when she had little power she watch and let the genocide took place and defended the modern Hitler “Min Aung Hlaing”.

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case. The military is unstable, uncontrollable, and theyre very weary of China. NLD is surprisingly friendlier to China, just not on oil pipes. I’d think even the Chinese prefer NLD a lot more

I basically lost my sympaty after Rohingya.
But then I realized that I was wrong to be judgemental to all of the people of Myanmar, as I still believe that many of the people of Myanmar are a good people.
I am afraid to walk the same dark path as Miss Aung San Suu Kyi, some (not all) of their religious leaders and some of Burmese who have been judgemental to my Rohingya brothers and sisters.
I hope and pray the best outcomes after so many sacrifices of the Burmese Indian, the Rohingyas and the people of Myanmar.
I hope and pray the good conscious to prevail.

Aung San Su Kyi never had the power to order the military and the rohingya case is created by military when the government supported by the military govern the country . And they even created religion conflicts to create mess between people . In our country , only normal people have each other. The military and Police are not on the side of people.

Myanmar has gone dark. military cut internet down all over the country today.
Just 6 days after Myanmar military has seized control of the country in a coup and detaining the country’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi and the democratically-elected leaders while making up charges to hold them, Myanmar has now gone dark. First, the military stopped the use of Facebook where Myanmar civilians have been sharing news and Civil Disobedience Campaigns. Now, the military has completely shut down the internet, cutting off the country from the rest of the world.
I cannot contact my parents, relatives and friends. My friends have not been able to contact their families either.
Civil disobedience campaigns have spread across the country, with health professionals being at the forefront of it. Myanmar civilians are fighting peacefully for the end to military dictatorship once and for all. We are all fighting peacefully for democracy.
The pans and pots bearing campaign is still going on every night at 8 pm to show rejection to the coup. In Myanmar tradition, pots and pans are banged to drive evil from your home.
May the World know that we are resisting the coup and fighting back peacefully.

This is orchestrated from Beijing. You all know that, right? China is seeking to build a fortress around the “motherland” with the help of militarized vassal states, all controlled from Beijing. Most free thinking people around Asia have been seeing this coming for a long time now but the rest of the world still maintain a very naive view on the present leadership of China and what they’re trying to achieve. Anyone interested in this development should take a thorough look at Chinese infiltration in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Philippines etc. The invasion of Tibet was the first step in this campaign. Everyone should watch and learn from that! And of course, China owns and control every development in N Korea as well. This development is so blatantly clear for anyone that care to study the history of the development in the region for the past 60 years. My question is; is the world just going to sit still and watching this development to be completed? Or do we, as a global community, see the real dangers in this development? They are capturing student leaders of 1988 as well as 2021. There are also rumors that they’ve killed our president. They sold millions of country resources within 2 days of military coup. Military ruled over the country for like 50,60 years and citizens couldn’t get a chance to fight back cuz if they did , they straight up went to jail or get killed by the military ! Military did stated all those rules that can’t be fixed even if u are the president before someone took the throne over from them !
