I divorced my husband of almost 10 years back in January. We still have much love for each other but we weren’t growing and we felt it was best to let go. We have taken an unusual road and have remained friends. It’s been very difficult at times especially for me because he is casually dating.
This break has made me see different perspectives in myself, mindsets and made me face my low self esteem head on.
I do not want to be jealous. I am happy for him and I want to continue to project that feeling and not have fear/jealousy live inside of me. I am actually seeing him today just to hang out.

You need to decide what type of relationship you want with your partner and ensure you’re both aligned with that. If not, there will be a conflict in alignment and unfortunately for most relationships that can be the beginning of the end.
Sounds to me like he is cheating! That’s a whole different topic & has nothing to do with jealousy.

If so, make sure it’s something you’re 100% comfortable with and also want and don’t just go along with it because you don’t want to lose him. That’s what I did in the past and it blew up in my face!
There were many other factors behind why our relationship eventually broke down and I was genuinely being open-minded and curious regarding the idea of an open relationship and wanted to explore that idea with him…but after a while, when I realised and decided that I wanted to be monogamous with him, he wouldn’t listen, rejected the idea and it broke my heart!
Being the woman in the relationship, I got approached far more than he did and could’ve really taken advantage of the fact that we weren’t monogamous but in my heart, I only ever wanted him so I never did!

I didn’t have a jealousy issue. But last August my husband cheated on me at his sister’s destination wedding. I think if I have another relationship, I may get that fear of it happening again. Trust and loyalty is such a HUGE thing for me. It’s like a rare precious stone. If a partner can’t give you that, move on…you are worth waiting for.

You have some interesting points here (confronting fear), but it is more difficult to subscribe to these ideas if you have “barely ever felt jealousy”. How can you give advice if you cannot be empathic about and relate to what WE go through? It was an opportunity for you to help, not create an air of ‘being above it’.
