Daytona Beach police arrested 19-year-old John Hagins, a student at Embry Riddle University, after two students reported alarming messages shared by Hagins on Snapchat to authorities. Hagins faces attempted murder and terrorism charges. NBC News’ Kerry Sanders reports.

@Gene Howard Howard The Sandy Hook shooting did not involve assault rifles. The person operating the firearm is the problem. Normal, sane people don’t do mass shootings. Normal, sane people don’t blow up bomb at the Boston Martathon and Normal, sane people don’t drive their vehicle into a crowd of people, killing multiple people, like what happened in Wisconsin about three weeks ago. The problem is not guns, it’s mental health issues. Feel free to ignore all the non-gun violence while concentrating on the guns.

I hate to say it but alot of these other shootings had prior info about shootings but didn’t act on it. Thanks to the kids who got this guy arrested. We need to keep our eyes and ears open.
