Oh, dear, Russia is using resources to influence policy, just like everyone else. If we do it, it’s “good”; if they do it, it’s “bad”. Arrogant EU sanctions on Russia isn’t helping the situation. “Please help us while we sanction and insult and marginalise you, keep you out of the G8, refuse an open and noble dialogue, hold up Nord Stream at our pleasure, wag our finger at you.” LOL.

The EU wants the cheapest price, that’s why they don’t want to buy 15 year long contracts to maintain stability. They prefer buying gas on the spot at market prices and Russia doesn’t sell gas on the spot, only long term contracts.

Kiev is not reliably transit country. They are in such a desperate economic situation that they steal everything, even the gas the Europeans buys from Russia. Russia sends the volumes through Kiev, but volumes mysteriously never make it to Europe 🤔🤔

Plus I think Stalin killed more Russians by his poor leadership when you consider he purged his military and caused famines, and who knows how many died in the gulag too.
