That hydrogen creates methane when it passes thru many carbon-rich layers in the Earth crust and results in simple methane – 1 atom of Carbon + 4 atoms of Hydrogen. Different formula for oil, but the same process. It keeps refilling gas and oil fields. The oil fileds in Russian Tatarstan have been depleted and refilled 4 times already and in Chechnya 6 times.

If Ukraine pays for the gas (as by contract), Russia will keep supplying and Europe will get their gas transited. If Ukraine doesn’t pay, then Europe knows who to blame…
