Yes that’s the huge fear because people in the west have not realised or noticed that the equipment or hardware Russia has chosen has mainly been old soviet vehicles. It has not used its high tech modern equipment or highest trained troops. It has not utilised its Air Force to the full nor its navy and this is good in some ways but kind of scary in others as they could opt too use their best military equipment if they choose.
I would only partially agree. Even if the invasion goes sideways, Russia can’t afford to throw everything in. On the bigger picture, Ukraine is just one theater. Putin still has to hold back a core force ready to defend Russian territory against NATO and, perhaps more realistically, against coup attempts from within.

Well as mentioned before Putin can’t throw in all of his troops. such a gigantic country requires a lot of effort to keep together and manage, especially with rising unrest and a crumbling economy. So no I actually do not believe that russia will use it’s most precise and best trained troops since those might be needed in case the unrest turns violent. Having those troops around the capital also serves as intimidation of course.
@Simon and if those best troop actually got F up by poor supply line and got decimated then there will be no card left for him except Nuke. Also those high tech equipment require part from Europe so it won’t be easy to repair or replace once attrition lost set in as well.
So far Ukraine has been fighting conscripts only. While Zelensky and western media continue to lie about their little victory propaganda bullshit putin has been grabbing vital key infrastructure of Ukraine. Over 70,000 soldiers/dishwashers killed in the last 9 days of fighting. Truth,Ukraine is losing huge. Truth,Zelensky is in Poland! Chechen terrorist soldiers outside of kiev. Fact,it doesn’t matter how many conscripts Ukraine kills or armor they destroy….Russia can take the hits and replenish the ranks and armor,Ukraine can not! Classical Russian Tactics, like in ww2, first wave is cannon folder, 2nd wave take the weapons of the one that died on the field, 3rd wave is for ensure none leave or run by executing them. They can’t even make this tentative little force work properly, with fuel shortages and starving soldiers. What do you think will happen when they send a huge armada of tanks and squadrons of planes? What i see is Russia is moving slowly so to see what kind of resistance is forming there. So they would make good assualt later. @smalaelefanten YouTube usually doesn’t sensor comments, may be due to the scale limitations, but they do remove the video content if it is against the interest of US corporations. I couldn’t find one report in YouTube, mentioning what is the loss in Ukraine side, that is how many tanks, Aircrafts of Ukraine lost. But all reports are emphasising on the loss only at Russian side. Even during COVID pandemic time, I noticed this trend in YouTube, that only those videos favouring Big pharma was available to the mass.

Ukraine is in a full fledge gear and the Russians are doing first. The Russians can double the numbers, triple it or even quadrupole it.
The stalled convoy has virtually ripped apart irpin and is slowly edging close to kiev.
