The Wichita suburb of Andover, Kansas, has been hit by a fast-moving tornado tearing through everything in its path. This comes about 31 years after an EF-5 in 1991 killed 17 people when the town’s only siren failed to sound. This has been the most destructive of 14 reported tornadoes from Nebraska through Kansas. Authorities say four people were injured, but no one has died. (Correction: The original headline on this video incorrectly stated that the tornado hit Andover on the same day as the deadly 1991 tornado. The headline has been updated.)

I was born in KS in 1961 and have never been affected by a tornado. Even so all places have inherent risks. We live here because this is where we have friends, family, employment, and homes. We live here for the same reasons people the world over live where they live.
@C M Naeger amen to that! Ive been here since 86, and while the 91 tornado was within 1/2 mile of us, luckily we were unharmed except some roofing. And even the haysville tornado again did some roofing damage but thats it. And it seems tornados happen far more often in oklahome now and other states east of us than here anymore

Only tornado valley do you see tornadoes like this. It’d be one of the craziest places to live especially when storms bring tornadoes. I would be terrified to be in storm like that. I used to live in Ohio as a kid and we would have tornado drills at school just in case. I now live in Alaska and what we have to worry about up here is earthquakes and extreme cold. Mother Nature can be ruthless. She doesn’t care, it’s her world and she do what she wants. We’re just bystanders at the end of the day.

Because it’s a great state and while tornadoes are common here, the chances of your specific house being hit by one are incredibly small. Tornadoes are not as scary as you think. They cause destruction and they need to be respected, but I’d rather face a tornado than a hurricane or feet upon feet of snow. As a bonus our gas is $3.65 a gallon.
Kansas has among the lowest fuel prices and cost of living in the country. For those willing to brave the freakish weather it’s not a bad place to settle down. You’re more likely to die of boredom than from a tornado in Kansas lol.

I drove thru Kansas many times driving semi! Entered small town in sw and hospital rents were up and devastion all around! A lot had been pushed into big piles of former homes and business! Was big mile wide tornado tore through!

I think the biggest tornado in history was in the 1800s or early 1900s. This is nothing new. Meteorology and prediction has improved drastically- but it is still not as good as it should be.

You really have no clue what the state of Kansas is like, do you? If anything the trend has been that fewer tornadoes are occurring in Kansas and the change in climate has pushed the stronger storms to the Southeastern US in states like Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

내가 사마리아 선지자들 중에 우매함이 있음을 보았나니 그들은 바알을 의탁하고 예언하여 내 백성들을 그릇되게 하였고 (대통령 정치인 재벌 기타 등에게 아부를 떨며 종교를 악용을 하여서 범죄은닉과 범행의 이득을 챙겼으며) 내가 예루살렘 선지자들에게도 가증함이 있음을 보았나니 그들은 간음을 행하며 행악하는 자의 손을 굳게 하여 사람으로 그 악에서 돌이킴이 없게 하였은즉 그들은 다 내 앞에서 소돔의 사람과 다름이 없고 그 거민은 고모라 사람과 다름이 없느니라! 아멘. 그러므로 만군의 여호와 내가 선지자에 대하여 이 같이 말하노라 (적그리스도인 기독교와 천주교) 보라 내가 그들에게 쑥을 먹이며 독한 물을 마시우리니 이는 사악이 (모든 악에 범죄와 범행들이) 예루살렘 선지자들로부터 나와서 온 땅에 퍼짐이라 하시니라!
만군의 여호와께서 이 같이 말씀하시되 너희에게 예언하는 자칭 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라!
그들은 너희에게 헛된 것을 가르치나니 그들이 말한 묵시는 자기의 악한 마음과 범죄의 행동으로 말미암은 것이요 여호와의 입에서 나온 것이 아니니라! 아멘.
항상 그들이 나를 멸시하는 자신들과 같은 범죄자들에게 말을 하기를 너희가 평안하리라, 여호와의 말씀이니라 하며 또한 자기의 마음에 강퍅한 대로 행하는 모든 범죄자들에게 이르기를 재앙의 너희에게 임하지 아니하리라 하였느니라, 감히 누가 여호와의 회의에 참여하여 그 말을 알아들었으며 누가 귀를 기울여 그 말을 들었느뇨 보라! 나 여호와의 노가 발하여 폭풍과 회리바람처럼 악인의 머리를 칠 것이라! 아멘.
나 여호와의 노는 내 마음의 뜻하는 바를 행하여 이루기까지는 쉬지 아니하나니, 너희가 말일에 그것을 완전히 깨들으리라! 아멘.
