This may go down in history as one of the most impressive lines of questioning a congressperson has ever made.
Not only did it impact a decision the Supreme Court would make, but the whole reason the New York AG is currently investigating Allen Weisselberg is specifically because his name came out of Cohen’s mouth in this line of questioning.

As someone who worked behind the scenes in DC, you should realize that all of these members of Congress have very committed and smart staffers that devise most, if not all, of these questions through careful research. I remember watching this live, thinking “she’s the smartest person in the room.” Went right for the fraud, didn’t get bogged down on the scandalous tabloid shenanigans. And now Trump Org is on the verge of being dissolved.
