” Production is HELL “
He is scared, I can tell.
he’s scared she’ll ask about the negative 400% margin on his cars. only kidding, she’d never bring that up😂
ask him what the size of the luxury market is in that segment, it’s way less than the target production for Lucid
What is the size of Audi, BMW and Mercedes? That’s the segment he is targeting.
@Kinza Shuja no, he’s targeting the more expensive luxury models of those brands and it’s a small market segment. If lucid sell all their target production for 2025 they’ll have taken 80% of that market, I don’t think that’s reasonable
@BlueToad they can’t keep up with orders as is
they don’t have a mass produced car yet and he’s talking about aircraft 😂
No start up company has mass production yet, what an ignorant comment.
@HeRacesTheSun I didn’t say that I expected them to have mass production, only that jumping to aircraft seems a little premature.
Trillions of dollars backing Lucid – not bad
Trillions? NO. About 2 to 3 billion.
@HeRacesTheSun Trillions – yes.
This guy is a genius
Many Saudi-American partnerships can raise the value of the two important economies globally
Such as the manufacturing industries of oil, the final mining industries, logistics services, advanced industries in technology and information, cooperation in research centers and entrepreneurship.
As well as cooperation in supporting the Saudi Public Investment Fund for emerging American companies, and Lucid Company is one of these fruitful partnerships between the two countries
I trust Lucid will be a gigantic monster in Electric industry.
he looks incomfortable. she has him ina hot seat. lol
Peter is a fraud. “The planet can’t wait”, for what, $175,000 cars? BS
Great interview would like to see some over the shoulder shooting they don’t feel like they are in the same room together.
This guy’s voice wrecks my nerves…..it screams charlatan.
Thought he presented himself when, or at least compared to how he’s stumbled through last two earrings calls. Something doesn’t feel right. Could be nerves of the supply chain carnage. Car looks great. Am looking to see how they ramp production in q2. May take the plunge if they make decent progress. Do think they will succeed long term with a desperate Saudis pumping money in and looking to avoid a total petro state collapse
@Dimitri Serr So he says but who really knows…..
@Robert Williams He got paid $500M for delivering less than 500 vehicles, great results😒…
@Thad L M 🇹🇴🦈 Idd, did the total company share options come to around $700m? Intrigued to see if the Saudis hold their 61%. Ten years of solid oil sales, then diminishing returns, leaving a lot sand and some fancy hotels, they need this EV pivot. There were so many suspicious coughs when Peter was given tough questions in last 2 earnings, he needs polishing and less grandiose statements. Car does look way better than Tesla’s. Keeping keen eye on Shanghai COVID rates, 1st June meant to be back to “normality” 🤞
I Love Peter! He is just Amazing!
this guy have lied being the engineer who led tesla development model s….. elon musk cameout saying its not true. one of them is lying?!!! i think elon & him established this company to theft saudi money as always the case. this guy have not sold yet more than 400 cars and all gone to insiders…. its a scam … guys watch out.
Is Peter a robot? He has almost no facial expression when speaking. I admire the guy and have placed an order for a Lucid Air so not a hater and not an EV fan, but we are going there like it or not.
i think he’s just a stereotypical boring engineer personality type. this is ok for development but he won’t get the company to the level of Tesla which is why I don’t think he should be CEO – CEOs have to have the market capabilities and he doesn’t
We should be proud of what KSA is doing. Haters and doubters will be always there. Yes not everything is perfect yet, but they are indeed getting there!
Peter is KASHOOGI.
Lucid motors cant Execute or Produce.
Peter promiced 6,000 cars by Spring of 2021, Delevered less than 500 cars in all of 2021.
and Delivered less than 500 cars in Q1 22. Tesla model X outsold Lucid 10:1.
Tesla has been around a lot longer
Do Lucid still lose 1 M$ on every EV sold?
This is what happen when you sell yourself and your companies to the Saudis. Hopefully he doesn’t end up like Khoshoogi in a duffel bag in the back of his Lucid Air. This guy had broken promises after promises more than I count on 🫣💩.
If you think Lucid or Tesla, as of 2022, compares even slightly to Ferrari, let me tell you, you have never been in a Ferrari.
Tesla model S is OUTSELLING Ferrari.
@Mark Plott Is not always about the units sold. Would you trade your Rolex for an Apple Watch because Apple watch is outselling Rolex?
@Edward Toro – actually, I would. as I don’t VALUE luxury, but I value HIGH TECH, which the iWatch has in SPADES.
and if I wanted there are 24k gold iWatch and with Crystal as well.
HIGH TECH is the ULTIMATE LUXURY – Elon.
Lucid motors is a FRAUD for using an ALLEGED 140 kwh battery to get 500+ miles range.
the bottom line is, there is no market for a $130,000 luxury car that is SLOW in 2022.
They sure are selling a lot of them for not having a market.
Peter, is LYING. it costs more than $1 million for each lucid car and they are only selling for $130k . unsustainable.
Ok
Can’t wait for Lucid’s version of the Model 3. I’ll be first in line and sell some of my shares to buy one. Please make it a hatchback Peter.
