David Plank of the bank says the Reserve Bank of Australia is likely to “get to neutral” by the end of the year.
The RBA is going to raise rates hard this year to get ahead of the curve unlike the Fed who are already well behind and don’t look like they will get inflation truly under control. Expect 50bps rises in July, Aug and Sept then one 25 bps in Nov, at least then they have a chance to slow it down but not eradicate it
