After an epic 17-month and 500km journey, China’s herd of wandering elephants appears to be heading home. The 14 Asian elephants were guided across the Yuanjiang river in Yunnan as a path was being made for them to return to a nature reserve.

Beautiful!!! Protect the elephants
China continues to lead the world in every conceivable progressive index
@jessica gunn Tell me.
@Tesh Man why? You interested?
@K J Ireland If personal freedom means “My body, my choice”, “gun possession”, then please spare me.
Seriously, a thumbs down for elephants?!
I know, what a weirdo!!
Hope nobody eat them
already eaten
Nice
The question is where did this elephants came from? Secondly, China is the number one nation on the face of the earth which buys a smuggled illegal Ivory from Africa. They should first criminalise and sue those who buy Elephant Ivory. You can not say I am protecting my Elephants while destroying the huge natural population in Africa. This is Bullshit!
Love Elephants ty for uploading
I have never seen country like that I means they r caring wild animals like human being and its beautiful to see that
Did you know China is the head quarter of Ivory trade? Then you understand what you talk is nonsense.
@Tesh Man I think you will find that is now Vietnam, more to the point Dinesh probably means that they have never seen the country like that ‘before’ and that it is beautiful to see that they are finally starting to care about their wildlife. There have been big changes in policy in China in the last few years and tough sentences are being carried out but it does take time especially in very poor regions to change old ways.
@jessica gunn I agree with your point. However buying Ivory is all about contraband and likewise they control other contraband they have to do this for Ivory. Secondly, artifacts made from Ivory are not sold in a hidden markets, they are sold on a very expensive big shops. Its only in china such things are seen. Even in Africa if you are seen with artifacts made from Ivory or the ivory you are inside. They should take some responsibility for wildlife in other countries.
@Tesh Man You wrong , the ivory demand in around all estern asia . China ,Japan,Vietnam,Korea ,Malisia ,Indonisia . China is biggest market for sure , but the fobiden law already issued at 2017 in China.
There is still few countries in the world allowed ivory trading .
It’s noice know they’re monitoring and protecting their food because who knows they’ll cross that line in the future.
A great start for conservation movement in China. The country still needs to tackle illegal wildlife imports though.
This is sincerely beautiful. Can you ask the others to stop hunting dolphins and whales? Maybe you can help them obtain the same attitude on life that these wonderful farmers have.
And pangolins, and shark fins, and rhino horn, and seahorses and hornbill ivory and … and…. and ….
The government has prepared many tons of fruit for them on the road. If they have memories, they will travel again next year.😂
May all the wonderers of the world, return home. All Glory to our LORD God Almighty Creator. Amein 🕊️💛🙏🏻
I give it two weeks before we see elephant stew on the wuhan menu 😅

ALHAMDULILLAH TALIBAN Comming Back & Gajwa+Bhagwa e Hind Comming Soon 😍😍
elephants on a 500 km walk-about take that Dundee
0:53 siblings fight AHHAAHA
I am glad they are not eating them for now, unlike other endangered species on their radar👹☠️
Glad to see they are not for sale in the Wuhan wet market.
So China is willing to kill African elephants for their tusks, but not their own elephants? I do understand very small percentage of Asian elephants have tusks.
Amazing, mashallah
Henan, central China, thousands kilometers from Yunnan SW China, was also called Yu 豫, which means where elephants 象 are.
Following the climate tense up, I think they are just trying to go back the ancient homeland?
The wild orchids, which represent sufficient precipitation and temperature, have been spreading and growing northward in recent years, and the earth’s climate is accelerating back to the ancient times thousands of years ago.
A husband who loves wisdom rejoices his father;
but he who is among the concubines wastes wealth.
That’s great what you are doing. But maybe the killing of African elephants for ivory and rhino for their horns could stop?
You’d better talk to the western plutocrat, I don’t think Chinese plutocrats dare to import any of the ivory and rhino.
yaay ☀️☀️☀️
Wonderful story..
I just hope what they discover from these observations won’t go to them harvesting elephants for medicine again just like the unlucky species
Outstanding leadership shown by the Chinese and a perception of family that is closely matched to anyone who loves nature as they do humans…thank you.
Elephant Origami (Paper Folding)
1. Fold two corners of a square of paper so that they meet in the center to form a kite shape.
2. Fold the kite shape in half down the center.
3. Fold the longest tip forward.
4. Then fold it back to the left.
5. Open out the inside corner of the top flap and spread it back.
6. Fold the top half down behind the figure.
7. Open out the tip of the elephant’s trunk and tuck it down inside itself.
8. Cut out the legs and tail and draw on tusks and eyes.
