In Indiana, 25-year-old Nick Bostic is being hailed a hero after leaping into a burning home and saving five people. Authorities say Bostic was driving through Lafayette, Indiana shortly after midnight when he spotted flames, slammed on his breaks and ran into the home. He guided four people outside to safety, then learned that a six-year-old girl was still trapped inside. He ran back into the house, scooped up the girl and jumped through a second story window, saving her life.

God sent this hero to save those children’s lives because it wasn’t their time yet. The little girl will always know how her friend, once a stranger went back into a burning house to look for her, and jumped out a window with her in his arms.

Nick Bostic is a genuine hero while the cops were too afraid, to enter the school, for their own lives to save any children. Nick Bostic didn’t wait for the fire department, he didn’t wait for armored gear, he didn’t wait for someone to give him an order to rescue all those children.

If only he was in Uvalde. 😔 He is a true hero and should be allowed on any force if he wants to join. This is how we imagine fire fighters as kids. I’m actually glad he wasn’t a trained firefighter, otherwise I am afraid lives would have been lost in this situation. I’d like to think I would jump into action but with a house blazing like that, I honestly can’t say that I would; especially in a house I didn’t know and a family I didn’t know. That’s what makes him that guy; a hero. I aspire to be more like this guy. 💗

If only there had been a Nick Bostic in Uvalde, Texas at the elementary school. Nick Bostic would have charged into that classroom without hesitation. If only there had been someone like him in Uvalde. Certainly, he should be awarded a medal for valor, even of a higher degree because as a civilian, he under no duty to place himself in such danger. Maybe the town of Uvalde should rename the elementary school , ‘Nick Bostic Elementary’ so the children would know there are people brave enough to save them.
