In response to Russia’s Military war on Ukraine, US & Europe launched a very knee-jerk badly planned Economic War (legal-illegal actions whatever) against Russia. And ofcourse the Russians reacted.
The Europeans were not prepared for the unintended consequences of their actions..they face serious extent of deindustrialization, while the US being an Energy & Commodity exporter is far better placed.
Maybe West should have taken 1-2 months out before launching a more nuanced, calculated Economic War against Russia to inflict damage on Russia without shooting themselves in the foot..
