Video released by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office appears to show Capt. John Grismore, a sheriff’s deputy, kicking a handcuffed detainee multiple times. Grismore has since been fired, his actions called ‘egregious’ in a statement by Sheriff Roger Langevin.

Worked at a penitentiary decades ago. Had a guard lose his cool and slammed an inmate to the ground who happened to be handcuffed. Long story short – guard was arrested after the inmate filed a violation of civil rights law suit. As far as I know, the guy is still doing time.
