Severe weather from flooding to extreme heat is slamming cities across the country and is threatening to disrupt holiday weekend travel plans and some Fourth of July fireworks. In most cases trees are replanted after being clearcut because the lumber company owns the land, and not replanting would mean they would be losing product. The only time this isnt the case is for new development, but you didnt seem to mention that, the plastic companies, nestle stealing fresh water, nothing.

@Laura Kyplain You’re talking about Karma like it’s science. The trees being cut by Lumber Companies are being replaced by more trees so they can grow to adulthood, and be reharvested. That. Is. Fact. If you care Oh So Much about Indigenous Peoples, and the Environment why did you completely avoid mentioning the Oil Companies building pipelines through Ancestral Burial Grounds? Ya didn’t? Did ya? Nope. You just spouted off some random BS attempting to provide an argument that makes you sound like some sort of ally. Which is what I meant by “whitest.” You don’t really have no argument you just want so hard to be part of the solution to a problem you might not have a vague understanding of.
Plant All The Trees You Want. As long as Oil, and Plastic companies continue driving forward like they have been your argument is mute in regards to helping Indigenous Peoples, and the Environment.
