No doubt, Sanga is one of the best cricketers in the world. But for politics in Sri Lanka he is not the “Drug of Choice”. There is an uncorrupted politician in Sri Lanka called “Anura Kumara Dissanayaka who leads the NPP. He is the only uncorrupted and reliable politician who has the knowledge from the grass root level to the top, and understands community requirements.
Corrupt/ uncorrupt is relative. I vaguely remember my parents talking about the atrocities of the JVP in the early eighties. That being said, who else is there to lead the country, right?

That’s Harsha’s view. He could be right. But other parties who have been in power including the political party he’s on, were fully corrupted. It was their former leaders who set the path for the beautiful country to go down this route by shutting down local production and opened the country to the international market resulting a nation to depend on imports. People in SL have lost trust in all the parties representing them in the parliament. None of them are leaders. They are merely politicians. They don’t have a clear vision for the country but staying in power giving promises and maintaining poverty. It’s not just the lack of knowledge that failed Gota but also the corruption through all mishandling of country’s finances. Majority of the people Gota has chosen were a bunch of businessmen who manipulated Gota for their benefit. We definitely don’t want Sajith. He’s a joke.

These are not actual protesters they are paid traitors and agents of NATO countries. Sri Lanka did not vote in favor of America against Russia so NATO countries want to punish and replace the president with some traitor who will obey all their commands as a servant. this is an indirect invasion of Sri Lanka. This is an example of centuries old conspiracy of NATO countries who have been practicing divide and rule formula against smaller countries specially Muslim countries to control them.

Corrupted Election officials allowed it to happen and ignored this. They should all go to jail. Why dont the Opposition MPs challange this in Parliament?
This is an opportunity for the opposition to prove that they are with the people and do not with the rest of the corrupted members of parliment. Take him to the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka or the International Court of Justice.

Why tiny country of 22 million people got 225 members in the parliament, with luxury life & enormous power, while people are suffering. Whole pollical system is corrupted, parliamentarians implemented their own system for generation, to cling on to power. Change the constitution, their own way, where foreign relative or any minister (or PM),rejected by people could be in Parliament . Tax free vehicle, income is not taxable, pool of vehicles in each ministry is enormous, more than in USA. Acquired the nature forest as they wish.
