ugly watch
Boo frigging Hoo 😢
Lol
What happens when you gotta buy the same exact watches as everyone else
Will still fetch more than an ultra watch
What is not mentioned is the number of people being robbed or killed over a Rolex watch. What’s the point of owning an expensive watch if it increases the chances of being mugged or beaten. As a result there’s a flood of stolen Rolex watches which is putting pressure on watch prices pushing them lower.
And this is EXACTLY why wealthy ppl are screaming inflation is coming down. As soon as luxury stuff drops in price, the rich become fearful the Fed is making a policy error. LOL
Looking for a new stock or Crypto Coins to invest in. Short Term Gains or long term. I feel it’s the best time to get started on the market, heard some guy speaking of making over $5M from a $450k capital.
@Gold Barry check the web and you will find him, drop a msg.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to STEVE for guidance which is how I was able to increase my portfolio . he is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor.
@rub tyson Ok, just found his website, impressive, Thank you.
@Gold Barry It was my first time using the website and As an investor i have to admit this company is truely professional and give legit service that I recommend for anyone who wants to start investing in Bitcoin or stock.
Scam scam scam scam scam
You know whats up when luxuy items begin to depreciate in value
Dm me 👆👆.🎉
Lol get 3 people who don’t know anything about watches to cover this story. Yes, there’s a pullback, but that’s in every market due to great macroeconomic factors. Will it go down more? Sure it can. But stop fear mongering that it’s a crash to zero. The values are still greatly over retail price.
@Momo_9k never…🙄 Mass produced tool watch.
VC-AP-PT👑
@Grammar Boy Omega is above Patek and AP in that aspect🤷♂️… so in every way possible he’s wrong.
@A A many models are retail and below in the dealer chats and groups. So it’s reality.
@A A only models going below retail are crappy two tone datejust good luck getting a steel gmt / Daytona for retail
@Kevin Nguyen I dun think luck is needed in time to come . If rolex can be at peak crazy price a year ago , it can also be at bottom crazy price someday. I am old enough to know the risk of anything that tries to associate itself as an investment class .
It’s almost as if their prices were detached from reality …
People that buy these watches are detached from reality
@Cross-country Traveler not entirely. I’ve wanted to purchase a new submariner for the last two years but I refuse to pay retail. it’s a bucket list item for me and I don’t want a pre-owned one either. I’m going to try to buy once we get deeper into the recession and money starts drying up due to quantitative tightening, etc.
@Corpr8Dystopia true unless the pre owned Rolex watches demand are greater than supply or Rolex don’t neccesarily produce the specific type and colour of the watch. Ex: Rolex gmt pepsi,etc..
Worthless watches anyway
BBB Bubbles 🫧 Bursting Bro😎… Everywhere
❤ 😊
An 8% decline is getting smoked? 😂
8% decline on previous grey market price…. which was in some cases 3x retail price. So a grey market Rolex GMT is still thousands over the retail price from and Authorised Dealer (which you cant get without years of purchase history and spending lots and lots of money on other items).
It’s not a 8% decrease when we talk value. Watch market is down 50%.
🤣 😂 yes?
@Bufan666 MuayThai
50% ?
It’s down 18%
“New Normal “ 😖
Jeez!
Price drop? Huh? Where?
Since January… Everywhere.
Lmao
Gold Rolex under 14k ?
26 DJ you can fetch for 14k
Dont you have phone ?
Coming back to normality – paying premium for a mass produced watch is nuts … prices are increasing for real hand crafted high horology watches
All after market watch prices are coming down including “hand crafted high horology”.
Specially steel…. At least gold is justified
@LucyLoveAlvarado “At least gold is justified”… is it though? Why would you feel any better paying an after market premium over MSRP for a gold watch than for a steel watch?
Plus a typical gold watch might have somewhere between 2-3 ounces of actual gold. Given the current gold price that’s about 3-5k in gold. When you’re talking about a 50-100k+ watch the gold itself is a small fraction of the overall price. It’s not a major factor especially in high horology. It’s all about rarity and demand for a particular piece regardless of the case/bracelet material.
Absolute nonsense
Good. Tired of Rolex way of doing business.
This is a terrible interview to be Frank.
Watch connoisseur..? Doesn’t seem this way, as many statements and numbers are incorrect, when we talk market value.
Pras as always, referencing Bob’s watches, which everyone in the watch game knows is a greatly overpriced grey dealer, seconded only to C24. Prices on BW does not reflect market value.
A SS Daytona is worth close to 20k$ not 30k$
Watch market since January 2022 is not up compared to the stock market.
Stock market is down 20-25%
Watch market is cut in half.
Daytona in January was up to 50k$ Now it’s 22-25k$
Pepsis was 30k$ Now it’s 18k$
Batman / Batgirl was 25k$ now it’s 13-16k$
Sprite was more than 50k$ That is now 22k$
Platona was more than 160k$ that is now100k$
DD RG 🫒 was almost 100k$ that is now 50k$
Go and sell your watch to Bob’s watches, and see how many models they will offer retail and below for😉 if, they will even give you an offer😂
Watch market is FUBAR💥📉📉📉
You know the drill, many so called YouTuber flippers hypers are almost like in the pockets.. they keep pushing and hyping only 1 brand and disparage all others.
The prices aren’t down, they’re back to what they were before the hype. The ppl that paid the hype are feeling the hurt…simple as that
Rolexes are so lame—-not sure why anyone would want one anyways. A cringey and cheesy brand. You couldn’t pay me to wear that corny crap!
gostaria muito de pode ganhar uma renda com essa plataforma e possivel
Are you telling me watch companies can just make more watches until the end of time?
8% drop is nothing. Ideally the second hand market should be below retail unless it’s old, rare and special.
8% ? It’s closer to 18 or 28%.
I don’t think I kinda agree. I went into my local AD in London a few days ago. I’ve got solid purchase history with a good relationship. Almost all professional models are closed for registration and that’s for people with purchase history, so leave it to your imagination for people with no purchase history.
No supply in London consider your currency is about to blow up!
Currency’s already blown, 55 year wait list for a Pepsi
Same here , I am on the list but not for the watch I really want
I see no evidence of supply surges in the Rolex market. I contacted three ADs here in France last week asking if I could order the new Submariner Starbucks version. I was polite and gave the reference number and said I was in no rush and would just like to know if and when they might be able to get me one. One AD replied nicely and said they are no longer taking orders for any of the high demand items and I should go elsewhere. The other two have yet to even answer. If supply was surging and they knew product would be much more available in say 3-6 months one would have expected a positive answer and a request for a deposit.
Did you not read the headline says PREOWNED watches? And no you can’t email an AD and expect to get a Starbucks in 6 months. Go in person, have a compelling story, spend some time and money and you may find you are able to get on a list then you wait. Understand them selling you a Starbucks is like them giving you a gift of $6-$8k if you are going to flip it. They just don’t hand those out to everyone. My AD is getting new Rolexes in every week, they don’t know which ones, hence you tell them your interests and if one comes in, you hope you get the call. If you don’t like the watches or the game, then don’t play it.
You went about this in a very wrong way. Your are risking being black-listed.
If you don’t show up in person, you will not be taking into consideration. You risk being labelled a flipper.
AD’s usually don’t take deposits. If they take deposits they are committed relation to the prices they are selling the product to, and can be expected to deliver within a specific timeframe. As they don’t know exactly when they will receive new items, or how many, or if Rolex will increase prices, deposits is usually not a “thing” at the AD’s.
Go in person. If not, expect not to do business with these three AD’s.
@Bufan666 MuayThai Who cares? It is a waste of time anyway
…thank god he didn’t give a shout out for Tugger !
Can someone relate this with stocks? A crash and bullish market provides equal high-yield potential, it’s all about early information and the right strategy, I’ve seen folks that netted 7figure gains amidst crash, and pull it off as easily in a bull market. Unequivocally the crash/recession is getting somebody somewhere rich!
@T-Jay I get guidance from Ashley Cecilia Spinosa. Most likely, the internet should have her basic info, she’s well recognized so, just search her.
@Phillip Gaiter Great share, I did a name search on the net on Ashley Cecilia Spinosa, saw her page and scheduled a call with her, she seems to know exactly what the heck she’s doing, interesting stuff so far.
You’re all robot scammers and your plug will get pulled eventually.
Watches should be like cars. Once you get it out of the dealer -10%
This is brilliant news for people who just want to own a watch and enjoy it and bad news for the vermin flippers and second hand dealers
Every man needs a ROWLECKS
I wish this was true…😕 I am on 2 AD lists and have been for months. The retail market is RED HOT🤯 an the AD have all the power as to whom they will sell their preferred stock. I want a Batman jubilee band, SD/DS 126660 black dial, and a Wimbledon with the gray dial and forest green Roman numerals. I’m hoping, PRAYING 🙏 that by next year, or sooner I might receive the call to the majors.
Buying 3x or 4x MSRP for a Stainless Steel watch was never a good idea.
More likely 10x MSRP
Wooooooow
Let’s go Brandon. Nice u guys voted for this. But no mean tweets.
My G Shock works just fine . I only paid $ 79.00
Watches…The new tulips
I think we need to clarify that second hand watch supply is surging, not original retail pieces. Ask the people!
Yep, was just in an AD at Tysons corner and the only thing they had were display models. Everything else was empty for Rolex.
Time to buy the dip
More watches will be flooding the market now that demand in China is down overall. Some of these overpriced watches are not worth the high prices and folks are trying to sell what they have to lock in some past gains that are quickly evaporating.
A Batman cost how much at retail? When I can pay that I’ll say it dropped and not just corrected.
Here’s how I always saw Rolex. If showing off how rich you are is important, buy a Rolex. If showing off how rich you are while simultaneously knowing what the actual time is, buy a Breitling.
As usual, the lamestream media is behind the curve. I am a watch collector myself, so often selling pieces from my collection. After 3 months of deafening silence, the past couple of weeks have just exploded with buying interest. I’m hearing the same from same of the grey market dealers.
You are wrong. No demand, no sales.
No Rolex in there store, that’s why I bought fake Rolex
lol there no shortage of those watches lol . there not investment lol bhahahahahh
Rolex haters who can’t afford one incoming in the comment section 🚨
Don’t buy Rolexxx now 📉
You can pay more than MSRP on cars because it is necessary but it is not good idea pay more used watch than Brand new, because without watch Nobody feel uncomfortable. Cell phone, smart watches.
Perhaps people who just like watches will now buy rather than speculators
If you want a watch, then buy a watch. Rolex is a luxury brand that is selling for prestige prices. If in the USA, buy a custom watch from RGM. In certain price points watches are like shoes. Why would I pay $2500 for Tom Ford shoes when I can have a custom pair made that fits?
Why someone would pay Breguet or Vacheron Constantin money for a three hand watch from Rolex is confusing. When people buy them “because they increase in value”, I’d rather have an investment that does that…and a prestige brand watch. I could have made more money faster buying an F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu and had a better watch to wear as well.
0:25 WRONG. “The big three” does NOT include Rolex. It’s AP, PP, and VC. NOT Rolex. Sorry.
Rolex daytona prices has droped from 50k in last April to 30k nowadays
Nonsense!
I don’t see any prices coming down, they are the same as they were a couple of months ago and I’m checking every day, it’s only the mega Hyped watches that have dropped slightly
