Committing any amount of funds into investing in China is tantamount to having suicidal tendencies. The negative delta variance for having any capital in China is extremely too high now, and it will not drop in the near term. You could attempt to exchange foreign funds into Chinese yuan in the grey market that is not through official channels to get a vastly better exchange rate which will reduce your overall risk entering the market, but CCP China always are restrictive in terms of exiting your gains along with your original capital should you want to leave. The foreign branch of an import/export business has always been the best way to guarantee the lowest risk of obtaining funds or exiting the market, because the base capital of operations in the domestic Chinese market will always be a target for the communist party to attempt to confiscate and steal eventually based on their past behavior.
