Situated in Doha’s port area, Stadium 974 pays tribute to Qatar’s history of worldwide trade and seafaring
The main construction material is its most distinctive feature, 974 shipping containers – 974 is also the international dialing code for Qatar
Seven World Cup matches are being held here.
The venue will be completely dismantled after the tournament and all of its parts will be moved to another country that needs it.
A big win for innovation and sustainability.

no its not true. my dad’s a health and safety manager who has to look after the workers to make sure theyre following all safety procedures and report any mistakes, and prevent accidents before it happens. if a worker even breaks a leg, my DAD has to be the one to go to jail (it happened but he didnt go to jail bc the worker went to a hole which had barriers around it, so it was his fault. my dad was just called to the police station and held there for 15 hours). so with managers like these, its highly unlikely that workers would be killed if there are consequences for the manager. the managers arent looking for trouble.
and dont get me started on global grade stadium safety procedures lol
