@ZA Well, about a year ago Bitcoin was over $60K. Billions of collars wiped out in cryptos. Every day it is getting worse after FTX, and this is only the beginning. There is absolutely nothing that stands behind a crypto which has any value whatsoever. A crypto value is ONLY what the next sucker will pay for it. It is a con to even refer to any crypto as a “”currency””. It has absolutely no characteristic as a currency. It meets no criteria of a currency. It is nothing more than something else to bet on and hope it appreciates (which is fine if you want to take that amount of risk), and it is even worse than that. Even speculative real estate actually has real estate…. gold and silver has thousands of years of history as being a currency and a store of value. Every coin has a stated value and can be exchanged for a REAL currency. I can even pay my taxes in gold and silver (but of course that is crazy). A stock has a company that stands behind it, even if it fails. Roubini has been totally correct for almost 10 years on crypto. When I can use a crypto to pay taxes or buy some milk, let me know. He predicted this, as did others who are non-greedy analysts. Blockchain has some value, but cryptos have ZERO value. They will all be worthless in the end.
