So Justice don’t matter when it comes to Americans citizens lives being violated? That is sad. We are in a police state.
I agree with Yamiche . Black men killed by cops is way too common a thing.
Also, the Tyre Nichols video is not far off from what happens in school bathrooms, but there is no outrage over those videos. For some reason, only loser men get airtime.
I believe this type of incident rarely occurs. Most traffic stops that go bad do so when the driver repeatedly refuses to obey the officer’s instructions to provide requested documents or whatever, the officers then try to place him under arrest, he resists and ends up getting body-slammed into the road or something similar. In contrast, in this incident, a team of officers wanted to show that they were the toughest gang in the hood.
The never ending murdering of unarmed black people by police and the media’s perpetual yapping about it, is reminiscent of the movie “GroundHog’s Day”.

There should now be laws placed on the books SPECIFICALLY for police who cross the line. @Eric Klaus it’s the racist who took over police training since they lost the Civil War to give more power to the States. It is definitely grown bigger but they are at the core. Focus on increase in crime rates. Segment of Black Community’s cultural of crime: Recent Satistics – 74% black babies born to single mothers, too many into poverty and harm’s way. Yamiche is an excellent reporter, but she does not speak for all African American people. African Americans (are not) fearful of death. But African Americans are extremely disappointed in a government system that fails to protect all of its citizens. African Americans have answered every call to fight in all wars this nation has engaged in; and we did so valiantly. We answered the call. All we ask of America is to have the courage to answer our call. Yes, we do want federal legislation that will create a (national database) of cops and security officers (who carry a gun) who have committed or conspired to commit violent felonious crimes against any United States citizen. This legislation should also include a requirement for every police and security officer in the nation to attend (Deescalation Training) two times per year. These training sessions should be witnessed by at least two impartial citizens (at least one of whom is from the African American community). These citizens should be randomly selected to be witnesses.
Also, we desire nation wide (prison reform). If you have the power to order a prisoner to obey prison rules, then you have the power to (require) prisoners to obtain their GED or if they already have a high school diploma, then they should be required to learn a trade that will equip them to earn a living for themselves and for their families upon their release. If prisoners prefer to take college courses during extended sentences, then the state should be obliged to provide a curriculum that will lead to obtaining a degree (and that will assure that they have the qualifications to obtain full time employment upon their release). A program should be developed that (with extended “good behavior”) would completely expunge a prisoner’s sentence.
In addition to these requests of our government, we desire federal legislation that (requires) states to build new schools in poor communities to replace dilapidated ones; and build community centers within close proximity of the schools. These centers would provide safe havens and after school study spaces for our vulnerable children. We want the schools and community centers that the federal government builds for our children to be randomly monitored / inspected by an independent auditing firm. We also want new legislation drafted that will assure the proper upkeep and funding of all HBCUs. We desire federal funds to be made available for the proper upkeep of said colleges and universities.
This should also include random federal auditing of the (accounting) books as well as inspection of extant infrastructure/buildings on HBCU campuses. Citizens of a nation should never fear their government. On the contrary, we should love our government. But love must be earned. There is no longer a need for the various powerful “Estates” in our great nation to continue exploiting those whom you deem to be members of the proletariat. The aforementioned may be somewhat lofty goals, but so were the goals that permitted us to travel to the moon. We want a government that wants the very best for its citizens…a government that is willing to work on behalf of its citizens. If you think that you fit the bill, then we want you to stay and begin creating laws that equitably benefit all the people of the United States. If you do not believe that you are able or willing to honorably serve all U.S. citizens all the time, then please do everyone a big favor and just go away.

The unfortunate outcome is certain people in this country are more prepared to act violently against law enforcement. If the persons who hold the power the commit change do not act in changing a broken system in the police force, I would say sooner than later, people in this country will, in all probability take matters into their own hands. It is not a good time to be any police officer, not now not in the future, not in the past as long as unions, Community leaders, Politicians and people in charge allow these kind of actions by the police to continue. Mental health evaluations should be mandatory, reviews on behavior should be common place. What other country in the world has the issues, many different issues that the US has in abundance? Come on, think it through.
