The fact it took 27 years is repulsive. Absolutely disgusting. The system is broken.
The system only works for the wealthy…………..sick THE MERCENARY extreme violent Martial Arts action by Dominiquie Vandenberg former French Foreign Legion 2 REP Sniper now on streaming and Amazon prime
Broken beyond repair. Much like the human race.
👏💯 True
The system isn’t broken, It is simply designed this way.
Missouri needs to pay him a million dollars for every year he was incorrectly locked up. A part of that should come out of the DA’s and other prosecuting lawyers personal retirement fund. Incorrectly convicting someone needs to have major repercussions for everyone involved.
Ten thump up’s
@Danny Phil YES INDEED ………….THE MERCENARY extreme violent Martial Arts action by Dominiquie Vandenberg former French Foreign Legion 2 REP Sniper now on streaming and Amazon prime
He got out by mis trial evidence said he did it. Lmao such a tool you don’t even know your being used
sad news… he won’t be getting compensation. It’s up to the public.
It’s about time!! So happy for him and his family!

He Should Sue
Heartbreaking. The outside world will be a radical adjustment for him, 27 years is a long time. I wish him well.
Lmao wtf he gonna feel like a god with the power they have now a days
@Devin bot
🙏✝️
Missouri needs serious oversight.
The whole south does.
@Sean Geraldo Facts
Every state does 👏💯
💯…
💙
This is sad. I feel this man I almost walked in his shoes I was wrongful accused. I have to fight for my freedom.

Amerikkka STOLE 28 years from this brother. Despicable yet typical.
But y is only black men that have this situation(wrongful convictions) …must be deliberate then🤷🏽♂️
come on you know thats not true
Look up the Innocence Project. Wrongful conviction affects more people of every ethnicity then most realize.
what a dumb remark.
This is why I’m against the death penalty. Not because I don’t think some people deserve to die, but because the idea that even one person who was wrongly convicted could be killed is not something I could ever support. Not sure how people do.
most death penalties require undeniable evidence. Video proof, multiple officer testimony of first hand witnessing, dna, a combination of those, etc. the charleston church shooting baster is the reason i still believe in the death penalty. I dont see a reason he should still be alive today
👍. I’ve been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it’s the best time to get started on the market. i was at a seminar and the host spoke about making over $972,000 within 3 Months with a capital of $200,000. i need to know how to go about it.
@Gray Thompson check the web and you will find him, drop a msg
@Alex Benjamin Ok, just found his website, impressive, Thank you.
Wow, a man been locked up for some he didn’t do for 27 years, and these comments from those don’t even care, I hope you guys take y’all money with you when you leave the planet 👍
@Danny Phil It’s a bot, just report it.
@Danny Phil queit Dan I’m trying to learn something
I am in tears of joy, for this beautiful man.
I can’t even amagin being locked up, knowing I’m innocent for 1 year or 50 years, I will have know choice but to leave the country, 😔😭
You should be locked up you might learn how to spell the basics.
@Devin you need to go back to school and learn what innocent mean 😂
This is some good news for a change. Congratulations, Lamar. And to your daughter who will have her dad walk her down the aisle in April.
Sue.
It’s always black men who are falsely incarcerated for a crime that they didn’t do
The justice system is broken. The government is not your friend. If you have lots of money, you will be fine. That thought should p*ss everyone off.
27 years in prison? Dude is already a dead man, like seriously. He’s just gonna go be homeless on the street now and cause more issues. Man needs rehabilitation and decent pay out
he’s got family. I don’t think he’s going to be on the street. And he isn’t a ‘dead man’.
Shame on you America.
BLESS him, BLESS GOD…
Pay this man ,$5 million per year served, the people that wrongfully convicted him should be thrown in jail for the full amount of time he was supposed to serve. Many innocent people serving life sentence for being innocent. the judges and jury duty people are a joke these days. Incompetent to get the job done right.
Judges and lawyers need to be in jail
👏💯
Justice system needs to be ripped apart
Yes it’s beyond reform. People called for reform for decades but it’s beyond reform, too much corruption. Bunch of criminals themselves.
Does the judge give him 27 years longer to live than expected??
27 years was stolen from him.
This is why you can’t have capitol punishment… If it even happens once, that’s an innocent man, having to face lethal injection, for nothing. Imagine yourself in that situation. It’s not that some don’t deserve it, it’s that humans make mistakes.
Low iq we have people who have killed 8 plus people and we won’t put them to death. Death penalty is needed for clear obvious cases
Too many judges and prosecutors let their egos get in the way and just do NOT want to cooperate and to admit that they were wrong. It’s not always easy to get the change.
If he has a good support system he will probably be OK. He has a chance to move forward. The days go by no matter what, some day he’ll be 70, 80, 90, so how he fills those between days will make a difference and I hope he can find something to be interested in and passionate about. It’s a terrible thing to have to go through what he endured. 27 years is a long time.
No such thing as a justice system….1)they can’t give him the 27 yrs back. 2) no accountability for the cops & prosecution 3) mental & physical damage never be undone 4) can’t bring back lost love ones or missed relationships…that’s true justice
There is no ‘true justice’ until it is administered by the One True Judge.
State of Misery is more like it!
you think this doesn’t happen in other states? It happens across the world.
Wow. What an impressive reaction to getting justice after all these years.
Sue Sue Sue
PRAISE YESHUA!!!! IM SOOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU BROTHER!!!!! ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM!!!
Hopefully he will get compensated!
Bittersweet.
27 years….
While he was freed at last… 27 years… he could have gone places with those 27 years..
That man had better get P A I D
How does one ever process that level of wrongful punishment? He lost the best years of his life. I can’t imagine anything could make it right but he deserves a whole heck of a lot. So sad. I hope he gets lots of help & support.
Was he a choir boy when he was wrongly convicted, or was he a player in the thug life, and in the mix ?
Wtf does that matter he just spent half his life in prison for a murder he didn’t commit
Dann is a bot
So did they find who really did it? 🤔
Found the real killer and got him to admit it in court?? That don’t happen every century.
Government should payback his 27 years 😢😢😢😢😢😢
It sad it takes this long what a failed system
Prosecutors should face charges for not doing there job right an fired for not investigating right
The justice system needs to pay this man what ever he will need for the rest of his life. Terrible that this happened to a innocent man.
He better get millions of dollars
God bless you on your new life.❤
Soooo No Money for all the Time He spent in thier? Real Justice Huh
Finally good news ..wishing him all the best in his new life…
It seem like a large population of innocent people have been locked away unjustly. Communities and families have lost a lot by these people.
It takes way too long to reverse!
This Justice system sucks more to black & brown people!
Only the blind,& and racist people support this broken system…..
hope he sues and makes some big $$$
This is not cool. That man lost a big part of his life. Guilty until proven innocent.
Bro I apologize to you for the way our justice system treated you.
Only happens in America and only happens for non white people! What a cursed country.
The most disturbing part of this has to be the corrupt prosecutor and corrupt officers responsible for depriving him of his freedom…!
Oh and don’t forget the corrupt attorney general who was fighting his release… Not even George Santos could make this sh#t up.
Absolute corruption at an enormous scale!
Congratulations.
Hopefully the state will pay him more than a bus ticket and the cost of court. They took everything away from him and must make him whole.
So does he go home broke? Want real justice, give him a couple of million so he can enjoy life.
Lady justice wears a blind fold for a reason, our justice system is not based on the truth, she is blind for a reason…
It’s better to let a guilty man go free than to lock up an innocent man. When I’m doubt, throw the case out.
Hopefully he will be compensated for his time gone
Ridiculous.pat him on the back and give him 10k a year.
But taking the life of someone. And not compensating him…yeah for that state!! NOT!! Great injustice…justice didn’t work..a man was stolen time in his life!!
Things like this occurrence are what make me wonder if the death penalty should be a thing, or only In cases where the accused is a mass murderer, or a serial killer, where proof is airtight and no innocent person is executed, because with this man, he when proven innocent gets a “sorry, we screwed up, heres a check for your time and the trouble this caused you. If someone is executed and later found Innocent of that which they were charged, is impossible to make “Sorry we goofed up.” be heard by the dead wrongly convicted and sentenced to death person, not to mention they ain’t gonna be able to use their death certificate as an ID. to cash that check,
Luckily for this guy, he wasn’t facing the death penalty, else we would never have heard of him being released, except by the Coroner so he could be reclaimed by his family about 15 years ago.
They better pay him millions for taking his life away.
And he’s not even getting compensated. It’s up to the public.
We need to get rid of our flawed court system because way too many innocent people are convicted by dirty cops, payed off judges, and intimidated juries.
A miscarriage of justice, I pray they pay him for the time he lost, I’m so thankful for everyone fighting for his freedom and truth
You think this is bad, think of all the innocent people we murder because of the death penalty.
so how much is he getting?
LOL WHY EVEN COME OUT, JUST STAY IN THERE YOU HAVE NO LIFE OUT HERE LEFT FOR YOU.
MSU..stop trying to distract NBC.
1 million for every 5 years
Since the US justice system robbed this gentleman of half of his life, he should be compensated enough to live lavishly for the rest of his life.
Justice system need deeply looked to fine any wrong-doing
He did 27 years because of his color. I’m a white woman and I can see that.
Execute him anyway, automatic death penalty,no trial.
Seems like there was perjury and prosecutorial misconduct in the original trial. And it took several years before getting him out even though two killers admitted he had nothing to do with it. Broken system, and people need to be held accountable. Original judge, prosecutors, cops, etc. Sadly nothing will happen to them.
Heartbraking:(
The Amerikkkan so called justice system working exactly as it was designed.
This happens all too often. I’ve been assisting a man who has been locked up for over 12 years for a crime he did not commit. And even just trying to raise awareness and gain community support is like pulling teeth. A FB post about butterflies and rainbows will get 150 likes, but a post about a man who has been wrongfully convicted will get maybe 5 or 10 likes if I’m lucky
😸
