Astronomers say observations by NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope are challenging our understanding of the early universe.
They say data obtained by the telescope reveals ancient galaxies far larger than what was presumed possible – so early after the Big Bang.

Space / science has always started with assumptions until proven otherwise eg other life forms (yet we send human DNA out into space so if another intelligent species can adapt a good way to safe guard themselves; just another good assumption until proven wrong).

Anyone that believes in God , The Creator, should not be so arrogant as to think that this galaxy is the ONLY galaxy and Being’s that God has ever created.
This discovery does not come as a surprise to me.
That’s not the issue here 🤦♂️ Look we have known about other galaxies for a very long time. But it’s this distance of these recently discovered galaxies that is puzzling. Because the speed of light is not instantaneous, whenever you look at something, you are not looking at what it looks like right now, but how it looked when the light from it first began making its way over to you. For objects that are billions of light years away, you are looking billions of years into the PAST. So if the universe is how old they said it was and it takes as long for galaxies to form as they thought it does, there shouldn’t have been any galaxies that far back in the past. They weren’t supposed to have formed yet. So something is wrong about our knowledge of the universe and this is how we learn new things. Do you understand what people are stumped by now?

The universe is unlimited and continues to grow. Western technology continues to advance to understand the universe. *But strangely, most Westerners are so naïve, stupid and don’t use their common sense*. Big Bang … is sort of a crazy thing, it is just a big bang. He is afraid to say it.😮
Here is an armchair theory regarding six large galaxies formed 600 million years after big bang. Perhaps as matter that made these larger galaxies came from many smaller galaxies that combined together. I presume that matter that was close to the origins of big bang were closer in proximity to begin with, so this coalescing makes more sense to me.
