Proper shelter is the most urgent need now for earthquake survivors.
The UN says more than five million people are left homeless in Syria and more than 1 million in Turkiye are in tents and temporary shelters.
The Turkish government has temporarily banned the export of containers, which are now being used as emergency housing.

“The Hour (Last Day) will not be established until (religious) knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious learned men), EARTHQUAKES WILL BE VERY FREQUENT, time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, murders will increase and money will overflow amongst you.”

Container homes are notoriously hard and expensive to warm and control temperatures with. Good luck to them.

If and when something like this happens in the United States it’s people will be up $hit Creek without a paddle, most all of its manufacturing was sent to China decades ago, They have no infrastructure now to repair the crumbling infrastructure they have, what will they do in an emergency disaster ?

A good idea and a warming display of humanity. Earthquakes will increase and the troubles Turkey/Syria experienced will be experienced elsewhere. Larger cities should take note, these large buildings cannot withstand strong earthquakes. Smaller container homes such as these will be needed in the future and communities will prosper because of them. God bless.

Temporary housing was also set up after the Great East Japan Earthquake, but at the same time, we were temporarily evacuated to vacant rental apartments and public housing, etc., free of charge. Are there few vacancies in Turkey? I think it would be more efficient to use the time and effort spent on building temporary housing for the construction of new buildings
