Alex Murdaugh is behind bars after receiving two life sentences for the murder of his wife and son. Murdaugh’s attorneys say they plan to appeal. The once prominent South Carolina attorney is also facing some one hundred charges for alleged financial crimes, from embezzlement to running a drug and money laundering ring and even insurance fraud. Investigators are also revisiting two other deaths of people connected to the Murdaugh family.

Buster does not give the appearance of being innocent. He may have helped hide evidence. What is disturbing about him is that he gives the appearance to be comfortable providing emotional support to his father. Most people would be angry that their mother and brother’s life was taken. He needs to get counseling services to help himself instead of drinking and gambling.
Buster may have killed his friend who recently passed.
In the last picture I’d seen of him, it looked like he was looking over his shoulder.

@Allyson Noel he’s innocent. did you notice not even half of his middle finger was up and his head was moving ever so slightly? he was clearly biting his nail if you actually watch it, and for some people who are in shock which buster was probably in because of everything that’s been going recently, he was probably in disbelief this was even happening. we cant bring him down. people shouldn’t, he has gone through something nobody should ever, and i mean ever experience. he’s traumatized and actually broke down crying, sobbing uncontrollably after the final court statement.

the fall might be believable, but the way he used it to get huge sums from his own insurance coverage and left her boys without money to even replace her salary and pay medical bills is truly evil. He never missed an opportunity to steal more money, and more money.
He’s a bad person and it’s good that he’s in jail. But the Snapchat video has been misinterpreted by so many people and no one can explain that Maggie was alive over 20 minutes after in a different area, it’s actually scary that so many people have misinterpreted this data including the jury. It shows that The American public is not intelligent enough to interpret this kind of cell phone data and that the idea that this Snapchat video saved him is enough to get people to overlook the fact of Maggie using this cell phone over 20 minutes after this while Alex is in another area also using his phone. No one can explain this It presents a hole in the defenses theory. Basically, both sides have inconsistencies in their story that do not add up to the cell phone data, but the cell phone data actually presents some presumption of innocence if you are intelligent enough to interpret it

Anyway, I was born in GA…we moved to NY (Garden City) in 1969 and back south to SC four years later. My father had no living relatives (he was from Jersey City) and my mom wanted to be closer to her family. He wanted us to see and experience NYC and all of the culture there. Been here for 50 years now!

If you saw the Netflix series, at first its so emotional you feel for the kids, but they were 19 and drinking illegally.
Maybe they couldn’t have gotten the beer if Paul didn’t get it for them, but they were old enough to not get into a boat knowing Paul was drunk.
And on the series, you can see Morgan squirting a shot into Alex’s mouth on the boat- and they both served underaged kids alcohol.
For an attorney to do this is just wrong.
Maggie was to blame as much as Alex. I know kids will find ways to drink but they encouraged it.

People are misinterpreting the cell phone data. It does not actually prove anything if you really look into it. Yes, he’s on that video. However Maggie is accessing backlight and orientation features on her phone up to 20 minutes after this simultaneously. Alex is in another area doing things on his phone. Can someone explain how this video proves anything when the cell phone evidence Also proves that these individuals were alive when Alex left this area? Everyone has told me that this video proves he shot them right after this. However, if you pay close attention to cell phone evidence and watch the part about the backlight information on Maggie’s phone over 20 minutes after this. It makes no logical sense that this is a damning piece of evidence other than the fact that the story he told was inconsistent, which happens all the time with innocent people. When questioned about murders, they even sometimes confess to murders they didn’t commit

No im sure during that video paul did…alex phone was off and he said he was taking a nap and his phone did not come back on til i think it was about 9:05pm or not long after M&P were killed.
Alex’s story was actually very consistent, he consistently lied about his alibi to everyone for a year a half and only told the truth when confronted with the evidence. That’s not same as messing up small details here and there. An innocent person would have no reason to lie about their alibi. Being near the scene of the crime mere minutes before it happened is not something you accidently forget about, not at chance
Because Alex took her phone with him and ditched somewhere off the road between the crime scene and his mothers house. He had it with him while he washed off in the kennel, with him while in the house showering and changing clothes and with him on way to mothers house.
They can’t add anymore time to his sentence. I say sell everything and liquidate and split with victims

If an inconsistent story is 100% sign of guilt, then I don’t know what the f*** kind of legal system we have, but innocent people telling consistent stories and lie to police all the time. They even confess to murders. They didn’t commit an extremely crazy lie, but it happens more than you would think

Unfortunately so much happened during the murder trial that we already know a future retrial is eventually going to happen and some of the circumstantial evidence and witnesses will be excluded. Somehow the defense will make sure Paul’s video and those financial crimes are not allowed in a new trial.

I’m about tired of these silly defense lawyers trying to convince us that Murdaugh’s financial fraud shouldn’t have been admitted in the trial. That is absurd. All of the crooked dealings he did were direct evidence of his narcissism and lack of character. Those financial dealings had a strong impact on his actions because he was losing everything that was really important to him- his wealth and status. Drug addicts lack self control and narcissists snap when they are found out. The financial destruction was the motive for the murders.
Ok, stop here. Alex waived his right to an Appeal to the judge. Why are those two 🤬 saying they are going to appeal? And if I remember correctly the defense brought the financials up and the judge told them if they introduced that the prosecution was going to jump all over it and they went ahead with it.
