I also lived in the Santa Cruz mountains and i went shopping once a month!!! Also if you read revelations. If I remember it says to HEAD to the mountains. I will double check. Am pretty sure I’m correct. People are just too spoiled. I always canned my own food. I always had lots of firewood, and i was alone!

I moved away from places that gets snow to avoid the kind of whether these people are encountering, I have never been wealthy enough in my life to have “stores” of food and if I were living where these people are now, that would mean I just went almost a week or more without any food at all, these people have it rough especially those who are to poor for any amount of warning to matter

Nonperishable food is cheap. I am actually considered to be poor in this country, even in my state and town. But I’ve been poor my whole life so I know how to stretch a dollar and not waste it on Jordans and name brand clothes. When a storm is coming, you go buy the store brand canned beans, store brand rice, store brand frozen veggies, store brand spring water, store brand oats, and store brand canned fruit. If you have any extra money leftover from that, you buy store brand chocolate chips, store brand nutbutter, flour, and yeast. You can warm your house up by making your own bread. It’s cheaper to make it at home than it is to buy it these days.

In Lauderdale County, Alabama we had major winds. Two people in this county alone were killed by falling trees. Quiet a few homes were also crushed under trees.
And experts have announced hurricanes will come further inland now probably…time for everyone to pay attention to limb removal and brush removal (for fires).
I think if it is possible, California should use dump trucks to gather up as much snow as possible and dump it in all those reservoirs that were all dried up a few months ago. If they are still low, the snow could fix the problem.

@Coco A well look at states like Texas who barely get snow and when they do they don’t know what to do and have like electric grid problems and places like New York where bunch of people died.
I was referring to those places as I’m glad I don’t live there where government’s don’t know what to do and the states have several issues especially Texas that one year when the electric grid was so bad.
Obviously states get snow each year regardless but I was referring to the states that act like snow is unheard of and don’t know how to manage it especially Texas.
I don’t need a map as I’m well aware and my point is I’m glad I’m in a state that when there’s severe snow storms like this or any snow storm at all the government knows what to do while other ones don’t especially Texas 😂
You can deny it all you want but it’s facts that states like that especially Texas do horrible managing with snow storms and the people suffer especially the massive snow storm in New York last year with a bunch of people dying. If they were to have proper management of snow storms and procedures or even plans if snow were to happen they would have things in place.
Now you can insult me all you want but I pay attention to things and I’m well educated and I was referring to places that don’t do a great job handling snow storms and then people die cause of it.
Sounds like you need to pay attention to details and not just make assumptions I think Southern Stated never gets snow. I was referring to big snow storms like this and places that do know how to manage those kinds of storms have far less problems and deaths than these southern states that don’t have contingency plans if a huge snowstorm were to happen with plows and so on.
