Doctors Without Borders has temporarily closed its hospital in Cite Soleil, one of the poorest parts of Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince.
It is the latest sign that gang warfare is getting worse.
The United Nations human rights commissioner is calling it a ‘living nightmare’.

@Marek Cracovia There was a lot of protests but if the police are killing beating up protesters for years then it means they need a revolution. If protests never worked then they know what they need to do set themselves free, if they’re not doing it and allow themselves to be taken hostage in their own country then they’re to blame. The protests were rarely serious as they were dancing with drums half the time. It doesn’t matter who Haiti is surrounded by..forget about countries supporting Haiti, stop waiting for countries to do something for you. Haitians have to take action and help themselves.. it’s that simple.
