The Walt Disney Co. is suing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, alleging a “targeted campaign of government retaliation.” The suit was announced moments after a panel of the governor’s allies voted to invalidate Disney’s control over its own self-governing district.

Keep up the good fight DeSantis, I’m looking forward to him taking on the corporations like big pharma when he gets into office. We are not a corporatocracy, corporations are required by corporate law to serve their shareholders first. Seriously folks, just how obnoxious and greedy is the Disney CEO and the shareholders, to think they are an untouchable state within Florida, (like the divine Pope in Vatican City,) and that Disney will simply pay taxes if and when they choose. (I am unaware of any company in America that has the legal right to operate its own government or maintain special privileges not held by other businesses in the country.) Disney needs to be reminded they are not above following the rules like everyone else and just because they have gotten away with not paying their share of taxes, for decades, doesn’t make it acceptable business practice.

With Florida still having issues form all the flooding, why is Desantis going to other countries for trade agreements? How can you trust someone to do the right thing, when he is just leaving his state to defend itself.
