Same old feudal mindset. He couldn’t get innovative. He could slog alright but intuition – nope he don’t belong to that level. Research is something Infosys couldn’t explore. Mr Murthy very disappointed in your ways. What you did from 1980s to 1990s was commendable. But since 2012 till today …shameful
Even TCS too.. especially it’s resource management department which is really disappointing.. service based companies especially Indian based only respect to higher management and it’s clients but very less to it’s employees who play a major role in the company success and growth..whereas product based ones gives equal respect to employees too with their clients and senior management.
@lovelycats99 absolutely. They got to accept n chew – SaaS days are over in Indian IT Industry. They have to build ‘product’ as tangible as possible – chip, H/W devices, EV, Drones, Engines, Peripherals and penetrate international market as well as domestic. QoP has to be competitive if not better. Those who adapt will survive, those who don’t will be history in next 5 years.
Landlords care a damn about these views.. if you need a good rented home, you gotta pay high, for that you gotta earn higher ..
With due respect to you, Infosys is nothing but a commission agent. My relative worked very hard for 14 years in infosys and when he died with sudden cardiac arrest in USA infosys was not even willing to reimburse his death certificate cost. Shame on you guys. Chronic capitalism is even worse than corruption to indians. You degraded IITs and indians. Knowing very well that indian population is so high and there will always be some needy human, you have kept entry level salaries same for the last 15 years when your bus cost, mandatory contribution to sudha charity has more than doubled. Are you kidding me with productivity bhaashan giving 25 thousand per month salary to a engineer ?
Does infosys write in offer letter that they will suck up 99 % commission from end client dollars and if employee dies suddenly in USA infosys would not even reimburse death certificate cost and say – infosys is not in the business of transporting dead bodies! It takes a while for a newbie to realise how they are getting short changed. Desperation and poverty is only reason for anybody to take up job in infosys. If anybody else gives more they will jump. Do you think its a good reason for anybody to have an employee where they are just looking out for opportunities all the time? Mohandas pai himself has called out infosys pathetic salaries. It is time to make everybody realise how these suckers are pushing indians further down the economic ladder enriching themselves all the time. Wearing a simple shirt and pant but milking billions in stock market value. If this were to be a government organisation, murthy effigies would have been burnt by now. 25,000 rupees salary just does not cut it

@CPKN Channel It does not work that way. Our taxes go into allowing these companies to conduct their businesses. The colleges they hire from are supported by taxes. The roads Murthy travels on are paid for by my taxes as well. I pay for the state, the army and the utilities as well as the salaries of the babus who processed Murthy’s paperwork when he wanted to start his company.
Don’t even try and pretend for a moment that India is anywhere close to being a free market. All of us know how these Indian companies cartelise and keep foreign competition out to keep wages low and prices for their inferior goods up. These rogue companies have been sued in the US and elsewhere for their exploitative labor practices.

Just make employees work hard than anything and give more satisfaction to clients so that Infosys gets so much money and throws some pennies to the employees as if they are some dogs. Infosys is having the worst Salary in the market. They have Majority of the people in the range of 3-4 lpa and maximum of 5lpa to experienced guys having 3-4years of experience. Shame on Infosys.

IT company no way different from commodity,middleman/broker,Service type of business..middleman/broker gains as much by renting the brains here.surprisingly even with so many lakh of software employees..they don’t produce not even single software product..

Govt job is best to enjoy life without any headache and tensions and hard labour .tech job is the worst .Govt is afraid of its employees .So govt employees are not fired on the ground of inefficiencies,talentless incapabilities, poor performance etc,etc, as happens in private and tech jobs . .so it is proved that govt employees have better brain, talent, merits, skills, knowledge and expertise than private employees .
Reduce costs … increase income … good idea … but it could also mean … reduce workers income and increase company’s income
There is no other option other than coping with latter one instead of former seeing the current scenario but shouldn’t be laid off from their jobs making the employees some sigh of relief to support their finances.

These IT companies are looting indians efforts by paying salary on hourly basis in abroad and annual basis in India even if you work for more than 8 hrs a day.
Infosys is a poor Pay-Master. Sucks blood of Employees. Narayan Murthy wants all the money for himself but not ready to share profits with Employees who are bringing profit to Infosys.
Murthy sir is no longer involved in day to day working of Infosys. Moreover, told he holds less than 1% of Infosys stocks.

Indian Companies should be in a position to provide high valued Employees during Sessions. Many managers do not have good idea on this and used to send onsite the LOW VALUED Professionals (As per Customers repeated opinions) and with LOW ATTITUDE. High performing with GOOD ATTITUDE employees suffer at offshore and finally become Layoff Target. Finally Company looses good people and get filled with Sychopants.
The pbm is the middle management is not putting the learned theories in PRACTICE. HR should be efficient enough to correct the situations, but many times NOT.
In lay off time, Companies should be sympathetic towards employees and absorb reasonable loss to retain the employees.
When market shrinking and you work harder to snatch the larger market ( suffocating competition) , then what proportion you have snatched , there people got layoff , your gain is other loss. Seems very miopic in approach where you think about “me” “my company”. Don’t know we I personally don’t like this person from heart ( extreme selfishness, slavery outlook towards people)
