With those early claims being made you can bet the opposition will not accept an outcome that gives Erdogan more than 50% of the vote. As for election denials, Democrats in America have a similar record to Republicans with Hillary being queen of that world along complementing Trump’s place as king.
Another example of your fanatic ideological tunnel vision is trying to equate Trump with Putin. That is real crazy and you can get away with that idea only in your crazy semi-literate Democrat world. You should do some reading to enlighten yourself about how Putin keeps manipulating the election process and even engages in violent acts to get rid of opposition figures. Curiously a lot of his techniques were implemented by Democrats under the guise of changes necessitated by the pandemic. Running around to collect ballots from everyone hanging around a neighborhood is hardly honoring the democratic process which is meant to be based on thoughtful deliberation.
But do notice. Turkey is able to present its election within 24 hours from when the polling stations closed. None of the constant drip of more and more ballot boxes as the days went on in 2020 even though over 2 million Turks voted abroad (btw, it’s probably their vote that gave a big boost to the opposition as the media in the West European they live is very anti Erdogan). None of the pause of the counting in the middle of the night. Everyone, with few exceptions votes on the same one day. No one screams “voter suppression” because there isn’t a month to vote or party activists coming to people’s houses to pick up ballots. No one yells that because they know they won’t be taken seriously since everyone can go and stand in line to vote.
Turkey has been split like this ever since voting started there in 1946. A certain amount of violence has accompanied most elections. Violence has been from both sides – the secular-leaning socialistic side and the conservative side. Only the biased left fascist American press never saw that and even preferred military interventions to prevent someone like Erdogan from gaining power. It’s a shame that ignorant Americans feel compelled to step in with their close-minded ignorant comments.
