Look up the term, “lying flat”. Many of these youths can’t move up in society. So they decided to protest in their own way. Living off the bare minimum, or lying flat and doing nothing.
They’ve been discouraged to the point that massive youths decided to live just enough to pay rent and eat food. Of course this mainly hurts the large businesses. You can’t sell luxury products to people who dont care.
