Officials say multiple Rankin County sheriff’s deputies in Mississippi were fired after allegedly torturing, beating and sexually violating Michael Corey Jenkins and Eddie Parker. A civil lawsuit was filed against the deputies, seeking $400 million in compensatory and punitive damages. WLBT’s Quentin Smith reports.

@Upside down Quarterback Center material all of Mississippi is basically crappy like that ….but cheaper to live than most other states , I live in Jackson mississippi the capital city , it’s racial issues from both black n white .why not move you ask? Well I’m stuck as of now don’t know for how long, waiting on my disability claim, I’ve lived in Vicksburg mississippi most my life , the police there racial profile , 15 years ago I sold my property there for that n many other reasons n moved to Jackson because there’s not enough jobs , paid for my place here n now I am sick n can’t do anything
@Renee well Renee I know a little bit about disability and it takes quite a while to even get a verdict on it. Have you got a court date set for your disability claim yet? In the state of Wisconsin I had to wait almost 10 years but during that time I had several surgeries and setbacks. So I know I owe you have to stay there until it’s over with. Now the question for you is if you get your disability will you continue to live in Mississippi or will you go to a different state?

I’m blond hair blue eye white man and Rankin sheriff’s department went after me one night with mistaken identity. I was 16 and they busted my truck window, hit me in mouth with Maglite and pulled me through broken glass. Lost 5 front teeth and had 16 stitches where my braces came out my chin, had 24 stitches in my mouth. Only good thing is I got my braces off early. Found out I was the wrong person and nothing happened. Nobody fired, my truck wasn’t fixed nor my teeth and mouth. I didn’t get an apology or anything. I was almost arrested again 2.5 months later because I refused to go to school with my teeth missing because my parents couldn’t afford to get all them fixed. They treated me horribly for missing school. If they will act like that on a teenage white kid who knows what they would do to a poor black kid.
I don’t think there is anything credible or honorable about the events that led up to this but that’s just me.

Sexually abused these men for 90 minutes? In public? Is there video evidence of these accusations? 90 minutes is a pretty long time to sexually abuse anyone.
The report said the violence lasted for about 90 minutes during which they were tortured and sexually assaulted. That doesn’t mean they were sexually assaulted for 90 minutes. And the body cams the police were wearing were conveniently turned off. Did you watch the video at all? Regardless, these cops should be sent to prison and these men should be compensated for what they had to go through.
