A New Mexico tribe leases water to the state to save the San Juan river. They are leasing the water for ten years with more than six billion gallons a year. The tribe was previously selling water to a coal plant. NBC News’ Brad Hicks has the details.

Take note American government! This would be where I think there shouldn’t be ANY OBJECTIONS to at least ONE form of reparations!!! We have taken so much from them, the LEAST we could do is build the water infrastructure they need!!! If THEY want it, of course!
The only thing the government takes notes on is the bribery they receive to do the wrong thing.

It helps the tribe Spiritually — lol. The tribes don’t NEED HELP “Spiritually.” They are Spirit. They understand where “water belongs” and the life and blessings it brings all species and lands. We, “non tribal” white humans got completely lost along the way. May our indigenous continue to get seats at the head of the table moving forward. Voices and the medicine they should have never lost. All of us – weird planetary humans – take note. The medicine is in our reconnecting to NATURE. We are not separate from her.

Wait there’s a strange duality. Another tribe I believe Navajo was asking for water rights from the Colorado. And of course denied. these two tribes need to work together to bring justice for both tribes. They also need to use the money for the water sold to build the water infrastructure they need.
if these tribe cared about nature , they wouldn’t sell to begin with
