The abortion debate is going slaughter the Republican Party. The ‘Red Wave’ is going to become a sunami of discontent over their arrogance.
I usually watch many [most?] of the talk shows on Sunday. Of all of the shows this one frustrated me the most. Chuck Todd would often ignore replies coming from guest that were clearly meant to avoid answering the question. He rarely would push back or restate the question. He would move on. That was the tragic flaw in the show and in Todd’s professional technique. Journalism deserved better.
I’d vote for Gavin in a hot minute!

One issue that I have with MTP is that they focus quite a bit on election strategy and polling. I would like interviews of candidates and potential candidates to ask about their stance on issues like 60 plus years of aid to Israel, China, Ukraine, border problems, national debt, defense spending, etc etc.

Why don’t the Democrats make Kamala Harris trade places with Gavin Newsom for the role of VP? That way they create a good alternative without having to rub Joe Biden the wrong way. With Gavin Newsom as VP, voters would feel much more confident voting for Biden in 2024. Knowing that a strong and down-to-earth person can fill his shoes in case Biden’s health goes south. The same cannot be said about Harris, even amongst Democrats she does not inspire a lot of confidence. Democrats have to stop just sitting idle and hope for the best. That is a bad strategy.
