Thousands of people come here for the Grand Prix and they spend money. its always boost for the economy. not to mention when people roam around Singapore they also spend money on smaller businesses and local hawker centers. But ofc a negative minded loser like you, who prolly also is an opposition voter will never see those things. You are only fed propaganda and you only have resentment towards other. 5 cents tax for plastic bags to save the environment but it’s ok to pollute with impunity if you are rich and powerful. That’s what we are as a country. 😢
Billion dollar global insight – the land space for the hotel in prime location is expensive. Why not for future hotels where the management convert the room with washing machines to wash the hotel dirty linen into profit making hotel rooms or other higher value space e.g. bigger kitchen space? Transport dirty linen out of hotel to vendor to wash. Even if the vendor responsible for transporting the washed linen back to the hotel couldn’t make it back in time, the hotel management can always open new backup stock in storage or purchase new stock from nearby hotels or stores. Our retail products transport all the way from China to our home in less than two days with few delays or errors, surely the transportation of washed linen won’t go wrong if you choose two vendors to do it for you? Furthermore, the national or global hotels total labour (responsible for washing dirty linen) slack will be greatly reduced due to fewer staff on standby, reduction of headcount, require less presentable, less skilled and less expensive staff.
