This is really bad analysis. There are way too many things that make that not an interception. Those rockets don’t get intercepted that quick after launch. All you see is a shaky camera and some kind of plume which absent of anything else is likely the rocket breaking up. It was clearly already malfunctioning and potentially tumbling which is why it broke up. Show me other videos where the iron dome intercepts right over the launcher basically.
Why would the iron dome interceptor only have a visible plume right before impact? That’s not the way missiles work. Boost phase, fuel eventually runs out, coasting, and then if it didn’t hit anything it detonates when it has no more energy to navigate.

Every information we have coming from Gaza are coming from Hamas, there are no Palestinians officials besides Hamas, so you shouldn’t trust anything from it. They don’t report military casualties, only civilians, and they put whatever number they want.

I doubt that this is the iron dome intercepting the rocket because where are all the other “glows” that would accompany other interceptions? Are the other rockets not going to hit, but this ONE is? Also, lets just say it is an interception, does that still not mean that Islamic Jihad is as responsible for this as IDF? Al Jazeera outright says that they “found no ground to the Israel Army claim” but don’t bother to address the site damage, the crater size, trajectory, or the fact that Hamas/Islamic Jihad said they had the warhead to prove it but WHERE IS IT? This is such a minimalistic “investigation” its pathetic. It’s just people matching clips of videos and pattern recognition. There is literally no consideration for how assests like these actually function and fail. There have been NUMEROUS failed launches in Gaza even well before this that killed people. Its totally possible that this was a failure, in-fact most of the evidence points to that way, but don’t worry, the Qartari (people who are harboring Hamas leadership) funded “News site” said otherwise. Blame the Hamas who started firing the rockets. It could be a failed rocket launch by the Hamas. The Israelis have the right to intercept the rocket. But the rocket was still close to Gaza when the rocket was intercepted. How does Iron Dome work? Does it intercept the rocket of Hamas while it is on the way up and still far from Israel? Somebody must be lying here.
It doesn’t, it can’t even if it wanted to. The technicals of the Iron Dome, the range, the tracking to determine a firing solution, the speed, none of that would allow for it to be an interception.

Would a JDAM leave that small of a crater? I wouldn’t have thought that air munitions would cause so little damage to cars and buildings, and they don’t cause fire balls when they impact either. Anybody else?

To add on to his explanation, the Iron Dome literally cannot intercept a rocket that early. When a firing solution is made to intercept, the Iron Dome launches when the rocket is near the target, a few miles or so.
This is in part due to how difficult it would be to accurately predict the direction of a ballistic that hasn’t had enough time in the air to reveal it’s likely path, the short range of the Iron Dome missiles being about 2-40 miles, and three the simple fact that timing it would not work. It simply isn’t possible for an Iron Dome in say Ashkelon to intercept a rocket launched from Gaza that close to it’s origin.

@Paul Antonywhy the fuel did not explode?, if it failed with a explosives inside of it it would be crushed,and small fragments even with fuel wont do that much damage, i do not think that we even know how much it traveled, a few miles inshallah, gaza is about 6 miles in width if my assumption is inshallah true then would it not make sense to intercept a rocket that is a couple miles off your country,i have to study this inshallah, i cannot trust you

Israel has a history of lying, one of many examples is Shireen Abu Akleh whom Israelis killed and blamed Palestinians, retracted and confirmed they killed her, ’40 decapitated babies’, and ‘burnt babies’ lie upon a lie, all refuted, but it is still circulating in media. They posted the tweet that they hit the target, then deleted it, then released a fake audio intercept, then posted a tweet again with the wrong time stamp, then deleted it. They bombed the hospital two days prior, they are bombing hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches, and are we seriously having this conversation about who bombed the hospital. If Hamas or Islamic Jihad had these lethal rockets, would we not see the damage in Tel Aviv from thousands of rockets fired by Hamas. This is, however, a shameful “investigation.” The simplest debunk is the one that multiple people have already pointed out– Iron Dome doesn’t intercept the missiles that close to their launch. That wouldn’t even make sense, logically or practically, even if one knew little about missile interception.
The other blatant grift here is referencing the Israeli airstrikes, claimed to be in the area. Why were those mentioned, if the video ends up concluding that it’s an intercepted rocket? Clearly to conflate the situation for the viewer. Additionally, the area of the airstrikes not mentioned with more specificity (where is nearby?).
This video doesn’t stand up to the scrutiny of basic critical thinking, and much less so when examined in conjunction with the rest of the evidence from that night.
It’s clear that this channel has a broad bias against IDF, and that is what it is, however, allowing that to impact any journalistic veracity, especially to this degree, is unacceptable.

However, US soldiers survived, a Russian ship nearby helped rescue them and told the truth about how Israel on purpose attacked them, they knew it was a US army ship but tried to sink it for their own agenda, get US support and get the US to attack Israel’s enemy. Watch Wal Street Journal’s analysis of the bombing if you want unbiased journalism. It was a failed rocket launch, case closed. The iron dome system doesn’t shoot down rockets 10 seconds after they launch.

Eow, that is not an IRON Dome Interception, two Interceptor missiles are launched per incoming enemy missile within Israeli territory to increase the chance of success within the terminal phase of the trajectory. What we are seeing is a missile exploding mid flight due to poor construction.
There might be another scenario that no one has discussed.
1) Iron dome launched an interceptor
2) It was about to hit the rocket but malfunctioned as the rocket already exploded midair
3) Iron dome interceptor went towards the ground instead and exploded right about the hospital ground ( as it always explodes when its closer to the target rocket).

Very interesting breakdown of timelines. I’d be interested in seeing craters from the 4 air strikes before the hospital explosion. The only compelling evidence that this rocket wasn’t idf is that the crater is small. Either they weren’t using their regular bombs or it was a smaller ij rocket.

The hospital is big and the death toll was counted by UN workers the palastinian in some homes stay up to 150 at an apartment cramped on each other since 1.2 million people where told to evacuate their homes or they will be bombed. They were told to move to south of Gaza but still their cars and south of Gaza still were bombed and civilians mainly women and children died 😢

what AJ claims is ‘clearly the iron dome exploding the entire rocket’ is not clear at all. iron dome doesn’t intercept 5 s after being launched, it intercepts when it gets close to israel. this was definitely a gaza rocket that partially exploded sending it careening wildly into the ground, accidentally hitting a parking lot full of cars (and gas tanks)

1. As the arc bishop of palastinian church explained, the Christian hospital was warned 3 conservative days by Isreal to evacuate! How can Israel warn a place where they suspect hamas is hiding? They are bombing all other recidetial buildings without warning!
2. Palastinian civilians were taking shelter in the hospital and Isreal hit it anyway while showing and deleting few videos to support Thier narrative.

Please go watch “Video Analysis Shows Gaza Hospital Hit By Rocket Meant for Israel | WSJ”, This video is wrong in a very important and core thing, Iron Dome defense system does not intercept missiles that way, radar and computer needs time to calculate trajectory and point of impact, then IF the point of impact its a “protected area” then it will try to intercept, this happens at the final stages of the rocket, pretty much always on Israel side sky.
One of the things that perplexed several independent researchers is the self-contradictory nature of 2 of the “evidences” given by IDF as presented by Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari in the press conference dated 18th October 2023, a day after the hospital blast.
(1) Based on the audio recording of the conversation between 2 Palestinian operatives, it was mentioned that the misfired rocket was launched from a “cemetery behind the hospital.” Now, there is indeed a cemetery behind the hospital as verified by satellite images and this is the only cemetery in the vicinity. It is located just across the road (name of road: Um Allymoun) but this means that the rocket came from a northwest direction with a distance of about only 300 metres between the launch site and the hospital.
(2) Based on the radar footage which showed the trajectory of the barrage of rockets over which is the hospital in question, and with the launch site indicated as well, the misfired rocket would have come from a northeast direction instead, a deviation of 90 degrees from that indicated by the first evidence above. The distance between the launch site and the hospital would also be about 4.5 km away, much further than the 300 metres if it was to come from the cemetery.
This inherent internal contradiction of these 2 “evidences” provided by IDF themselves calls into question their reliability and validity. An international and independent investigation team led by UN will be needed to identify the actual cause of this tragic event.
It looks like to me anything 200 meters in the air would take 7 seconds to drop. I understand the Israeli military can be untrustworthy but it seems like they got this one right.
If it was caused by an Israeli rocket then Hamas would have by now presented the evidence that it was an Israeli rocket. This hasn’t been done yet, because they don’t have such evidence. It was just another Hamas terrorist rocket.
