U.S. China relations: What Biden and Xi meeting means for multinational businesses and trade

President Biden will be meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit in San Francisco, where major CEOs and other world leaders will also be in attendance.
China Beige Book International Managing Director Shehzad Qazi analyzes what Xi’s attendance and availability to business leaders will mean for investment into China.
“The message to CEOs, of course, remains, ‘China’s open for business and we welcome foreign companies and foreign executives to come in,'” Qazi tells Yahoo Finance. “You don’t really have to sell foreign executives… on China very much still.”
Qazi also cautions American business leaders on the geopolitical risks still tied to China.
