Black Friday have started earlier than expected 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Don’t do business with sites that are not extremely popular/famous
Im always thinking when I come across these scams that people can’t be this greedy or dumb. Then a story hits and sure enough, a scam occured because someone was either greedy or dumb and in most cases, both!
Right. Totally agree
False sense of security catches us all sometimes
Anyone who doesnt automatically use these tips as common sense deserves everything they have coming to them in plain English. Ive never had a problem
Many elderly people get scammed via email, text messages, even via landline. You think they deserve it? 🙄
With the passwords, what I do is I have the very beginning of every password the same, then the difference afterwards with NAMES of FAMILY MEMBERS, so that not only does it meet the requirements, but it is also a long password that I’m ONLY able to easily remember. Also, any letter that looks like a number is what I replace that letter with. For example, E = 3 , S = 5 , L = 1, O= 0 etc etc.
It depends. As long as you’re not being specifically targeted, you should be fine. Sometimes hackers will research their targets, and add family members, birth dates and even pet names to their dictionary. Also, most cracking software nowadays will account for replaced letters, and will only slow them down by a couple seconds. The best practice is to make sure it’s at least 12 characters long, pick 2 or 3 words that are unrelated, add in a couple of numbers and special characters between the words.
example: 4@Space2$Nerf!
I like AmericFboy_RumpA$$69 that way it might scare the hacker of what they might see if they proceed further
I also like to poke fun of potential hackers with passwords like Allah’s_smol_dic3y
You’re making it easy for them to hack you mate
Exactly, you just gave them your secret sauce. The internet is WIDE open, so I wouldn’t be surprised if your comment was exposed to a number of them as it is.
one story of a victim, she was asked to invest something with high returns, at first she was skeptic and only put in a bit, she did get many times back and she was slowly even given an air ticket to Europe, she was delighted and returned from the holiday, gloating to others how stupid they are for not joining her in the investment, and see how she is rewarded.
in the end, they wanted to bait her to invest more, and when she invested $100,000 thats when they pulled the line and hooked the fish.
Terrible, just sick how these scammers lure victims in like this 🙁
You just described Bitcoin scam
@Somebody often we assume scammers are overseas ppl who try to scam the developed countries citizens out of their hard earned money, but often these scammers have recurited ppl within the country to act as their money mule, they offer young teenagers or adults, a sum of money to open bank accounts and then transfer the password and ATM card to them for use, and just for opening the account, they get a sum of money or is promised a fraction of the money that they store in ur account.. and it’s sickening when you see teenagers like 16 or 17 involved in scams that trick senior citizens/old ppl of 60 or 70 years old of their lifetime savings..
That’s easy just don’t use digital currency …. Hackable money never made sense … And since paypal hit me with a unjustifiable bill that taken out of my account .. I been done with digital currency … If can’t get the store or pay in cash I don’t need it!!!!!!
Scams from NBC run deep too. The whole January 6 💩 just got exposed. You can add yourselves to the scam list 🤣
The end game is physical retailers coming back into vogue. Not just due to scams, but also the prevalence of counterfeits (big issue with Amazon that comingles inventory) and increased costs of shipping, including extra taxes some municipalities are adding.
We should have an environmental impact fee for every box delivered to your home
@the dudeGovern me harder, daddy
That won’t work in most cities where theft is at an all time high! It’s best to shop online and just be smart. Heeding these tips will make you a lot less of a target.
brick and mortar stores are closing en masse in San Francisco, Los Angeles and other metropolitan cities. The risk isn’t worth it.
Thay’re using Ai for scamming
Why isnt that scammer sleeping?
Time zones are different.
Because he is scamming
Nigerians and Indians.
The Bible says we have all sinned. I know I have, haven’t you?
God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4).
Peter said, the Lord is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9)
God gave us free will.
The Good news
How can I go up to heaven and have everlasting life ?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that he died and rose again and you will be saved”
God bless you all in Jesus name.
1 John 3:5 – And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 2:2 – And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
D*mb religious people alwaya gotta bring their non sense everywhere.
Scammers Ai New World Order is out of order.
Good luck with being savy over seas!!!
Scammers are evil people
Build and memorize your own alphabet grid: A = H, F = Z. etc etc. along with unique identifiers
right when i got notification my package was delivered someone texted me to pay extra to redeliver. Ofc after checking my mail box i knew it was fake
When in doubt, pay with a credit card. That credit is actually not yours and it’s the banks so it’s easier to get it handled than your cash in a checking account.
I get so many professional looking scams these days. Sometimes I have to double check things. I consider myself savvy. I have multiple degrees. These things are just getting harder to detect at times.
What are your degrees in?
Lol 😂 just because you have multiple degrees in whatever fields you studied does not mean you’ll be an expert at identifying everything. 🧐
Hate to break it to you, but being educated doesn’t have anything to do with intelligence or having good common sense.
1:26 And when *that* #PasswordManager gets #hacked because of some stupid act by an employee??
Exactly! I never trusted them, never will.
or by an unpatched security vulnerability that gets exploited… it becomes a 1 stop shopping spree. That’s why I don’t use any of those password managers.
I’m getting a few emails lately regarding Norton Antivirus software purchases/updates. I don’t have that idiotic program! So, I wasn’t about to click and dispute the charges. Scammy emails sometimes look as blurry as bad counterfeit money. Truly. Someone was using Amazon for awhile to gain access to your account. I forwarded all of them to their phishing department. They do have one.
They’ll use Apple to try and secure credit card information. Once again, wanting you to immediately contest the charges. They’ll use a product that you’d never personally buy. To enhance your outrage. Like ‘Every NASCAR race Ever’ has been bought for $49.99. It’s a number that isn’t off the charts crazy like Norton wanting $499.99 for their updates. It’s buyable as cause for concern. When you get something ridiculous like these phishing trips emailed to you, check your bank to see if indeed there was a charge for whatever it is.
For those of us who are responsible with credit cards, an additional option is to use them for every purchase possible and freeze your debit cards. Another layer of protection between your bank account and scammers.
jokes on the scammer. I don’t have any money.
Stay poor…stay ahead 💯
Its so sad when your country is famous for doing this thing. If Japan has high tech gadgets, France High Fashion, China affordable goods, Nigeria has this 😕
That is the shadow cast upon them.
Nigerians learned these scams from Europeans. Eastern European people were pulling these type of scams with snailmail back in the coldwar days. Idk why all of a sudden Nigerians are the face of a 60 year old scam.
Over the years I’ve had scammers steal money from my bank account using Venmo. And more recently I’ve had them get my info and draw money out thru an Atm. It’s a pretty scary and confusing situation. I’m just thankful the banks I was with were understanding and gave me my money back.
How about don’t use the same email. I use 4 email addresses. Not to say it’s perfect but I think it helps.
Just curious… what will that achieve? It helps to do what exactly?
Its true. Be careful out there.
not to mention the scam ads youtube allows
Stay offline 😊
Interesting how Nigeria was mentioned in this report. Scammers exist in every country, not just Africa. 💜 I know that was mentioned in the report but, sadly, due to racism, Africa is the ‘go-to’ for reports on criminal activity.
It’s 99% Nigeria honey. Sure other countries have bad reputations too. For example, R*ssia hacks. To your point, other west African countries do scam too. I have been hearing about that in the news but mostly Nigeria.
And we know why they mentioned Nigeria even tho Nigerians learned these scams from Europeans.
Recently I fall for it, a friend from Guam supposedly had n emergency, she ask n messenger, they just had a typhoon n común cation was bad.
I ask to see her n hear her voice, n they send me a video of her saying hi.
I’ve watched this entire clip… where is the “sophistication” part? It’s been the same for 20+ years. The only difference is there is unlimited number of clueless people who fall for the scams. It’s the reason why the scam is still going today.
Senior citizens always falling for this scam
😂😂😂
Each year, I reformat the hard disk, reinstall Windows 11 and antivirus!
Some of them use witchcraft also, they will try to possess people with demons n try to get them to give them money or your info to get your money, even if you know about the scams they do, they still will possess people to get their money, this happened to me n i had to fight the demons off n the demons were mad that i fought them off
