As a British person, I am deeply troubled by the bill that is passing through Parliament to block local authorities from joining the boycott movement. Local government contracts can amount to a lot of money over the years, funded also of course by tax payers. We have a right to ensure the services we receive are from companies that operate ethically, globally. I need to research this further and see if there is a petition or will contact my MP about it.
