The United Nations General Assembly has voted overwhelmingly to approve a resolution that demands an immediate truce in Gaza. 153 countries backed the move. But the U.S. voted against the draft resolution, along with Israel and eight other countries.

A vote for a cease fire is a vote for religious terrorism, let Israel do what it needs to do, the people of Gaza elected Hamas and now they are paying the price for that choice, the people of Gaza dont want peace and they dont want a two state solution as this was offered many times, they want the eradication of the Jews. If a cease fire happens who does it benefit? the people of Gaza? no the aid will be stolen by Hamas, it will aid Hamas , allowing them to move and regroup and re arm , eventually they will strike at Isreal and the whole thing will start again but Hamas will be in better shape.
What should be happening is nations like Egypt should be allowing refugees of war through the border so that they can care for them and keep them out of harms way, but why do you think that isnt happening? really think about it, why dont a muslim country want to allow its muslim brothers and sisters to cross the border?
How about every UN nations that voted for the cease fire start humanitarian evacuation of the Gazain refugees , come on lets see those boats and planes taking them to safety.

The resolution also demands the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages, as well as ensuring humanitarian access. I assume that when Hamas realeses all hostages there will be a cease fire.
Zambia voted in favour, i am proud. We abstained from the last votes against Israel, which was shameful. This is not about being ‘Pro-Palestine’ or not. What’s the worth and point of so many votes in favor of ceasefire when one veto vote (from either the US, the UK, France, Russia or China in the Security Council negate all those votes).
