Apple announced it is pulling the Apple Watch “Series 9” and “Ultra 2” following a dispute over the blood oxygen sensor technology inside. Masimo, a medical technology company, is accusing Apple of patent infringement. Apple is vowing to fight back. NBC News’ Christine Romans has more details.

You can’t simply steal another companies tech and sell it as your own, Apple constantly sues companies claiming they are stealing tech and now they are getting a taste of their own medicine as they should.
This has been in process between the two since January 2020, it only feels like its new because the ITC only just ruled against apple this past October and gave them 60 day window for the presidential review. That deadline is in a few days. Not new at all, years old actually, just moving very slowly.
