A gunman opened fire on a college campus in Prague, Czech Republic, sending people running for cover and forcing students to crouch on the ledge of a building. At least 14 people were killed. NBC News’ Keir Simmons reports.

Nice that the US offered condolences since this particular expression of mental illness is like a virus coming from America. Most people with mental illness are NOT violent. Well, our government is working on a solution because of what happened, we will probably have some police security detail at schools and hospitals following this incident.

People need to understand that the Banning the gun thing is totally about controlling citizens, and as as you can see banning weapons didn’t stop this person from killing these students. Our lives are at stake here, and self-defense is not wrong our whole world has the wrong idea about self-defense, because people in charge take away the rights and freedom for a person to live safely and to protect their family, and this is totally wrong!

You’re quite right that all mass shootings don’t happen in America, just a high proportion of them, unsurprising in a country with more guns than people. You are also of course right that gun violence won’t stop as long as there are still firearms in circulation, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be measures put in place to reduce those levels of violence.

As a 2nd Amendment absolutist I’ll be the first to say that we have a mass shooting problem in America that nobody knows how to fix. One side wants to blame inanimate objects and the other side blames mental health problems. Both sides blame each other and argue past each other and nothing gets done about it. I’m not going to give up my guns and I’m not going to submit to mandatory mental health checks. Maybe we should bring Jesus back to schools and let boys be boys again. Armed guards wouldn’t hurt either.
