New study points to potential cause of sudden unexplained death in children

Every year, an estimated 400 families are devastated by the sudden death of a toddler or young child. Now, an NYU study published in the medical journal Neurology on sudden unexplained death in children found evidence of febrile seizures in some of the cases. NBC News’ Kate Snow spoke with a family impacted, and has more details on the findings of the study.
