Switzerland is a mountainous country with umpteen number of tunnels and bridges connecting remote communities. If you really want to compare with Switzerland, you should compare the mountainous areas of India. How much railways track has been built in J&K, Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, NE and Western Ghats in the past 10 years. You are struggling to add capacity & increase speed in western ghats where there is no shortage of passenger demand and you talk about adding Switzerland sized network every year. This is shameful coming from the more educated & professional of ministers.
