DOWNLOAD THIS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE they “lose” it. You hear what she said? “I HEARD BOOM BOOM” and then the pancake collapse, OF AN IMPLOSION!
Just like the fire fighters in nyc, when they said, “We heard boom boom boom boom a series of explosions. I knew it was a demolition job. Buildings just don’t collapse like that without help. FACT
FACT you’re a 🤡
It says 2 comments yet I only see mine. YT censoring already.
@Michael Sisson II Blocking doesn’t work like that. When you block someone all they do is prevent you from commenting on THEIR videos. Not public ones.
probably just time delay.
@Michael Sisson II yea it shows them now, it was Elmo
Who cares
Because no one wants to hear you whine
could be the channel consoring
😥🙏
Here the 3rd comment.
Jesus loves u
the kind of love you can’t even tell is there, lol
Waoo this News broke my heart my condolece for that Family
People screaming at minute 1:13 under those debris is the most scary thing I’ve ever heard.
Those are not the screams of people under the debris, but a combination of people trapped on the balconies and those coming from the garage (after evacuating from the sole remaining stairwell).
Yea there wasn’t anyone screaming under the debris of a 12 story collapse fortunately and unfortunately because I just pray none of the victims had to actually consciously endure any of it whether it be in pain, thirst, hunger, suffocating or elements. I pray to God the ones who died, did so instantly without even realizing what happened! Absolutely horrendous what happened to them!
Lol
Well now you get to hear gunshots in elementary school I think that’s pretty scary as well
@A JAAY There were people in the rubble still alive, one boy and his mother who died later in the hospital that a bystander found. Luckily that firefighter lady didn’t stop him. There was also another mother and her daughter that escaped the rubble pile.
It’s so unreal, bless everyone
So heartbreaking. The crying and screaming for help. Just too much to see. Hear. 🙏 for the FAMILIES of lost loved ones who see this.
9/11 was using demolition. So is this .
I heard this lady saying she have a baby 💔😢 sounds like they were trapped too
Omg the screams
Salute to all first responders risking their lives ✅
The security guy in shock. Ptsd.
PTSD? You can’t get POST traumatic stress UNTIL AFTERWARD! It’s just plain shock!
shes a girl btw
That’s a lady.
2:20 something tells me we may be seeing more of her as investigations/trials unfold
Building president better have lawyers on speed dial.
Thank you to all of the responders and rescue workers. 🙏❤🇺🇸
What a nightmare
🤣 I heard a prrrrrrrruuummm
She did a great job of describing the building pancaking.
Laugh it up, Chuckles
This is not the time to laugh seriously some people.
The security guard is incredible. Her name is Shamoka Furman. She called 911, directed residents to escape, rode out the building collapse in the lobby of the section that remained standing, and helped an elderly survivor and a family climb out of the rubble. And this is all before the cops arrived…and they arrived almost immediately.
@Saharah Chin I think both. From the one clip I think some were trapped in the parking garage. From news reports I think only two or three people were screaming from the collapse zone itself.
@Maud https://youtu.be/qvuhTNbUatI
@tami lynn Thank you!
@The Legacy Some survivors did say they heard the alarm, and a recorded announcement saying ‘Evacuate Now’ over and over in both english and spanish. However some of those found the stairwells blocked or half their apartment gone, so they had to go out on the balcony and wait to be rescued with a cherry picker. I think the people in the far east side of the building that remained standing for a few seconds might not have heard the alarms in time, the cables probably got severed when the center portion fell in first.
@brnmcc01 Oh, I was meaning evacuate _prior_ to the collapse. Unfortunately I don’t know if the security guard was aware what was going on _before_ everything went down. But I know that some residents _did_ but didn’t pull the fire alarm – at least, to my knowledge.
.
That building President was a joke.
Why? She’s in shock. Her friends and maybe family are in there. Everyone reacts differently. May have been somewhere else and just returned. Have some compassion. Be thankful you didn’t live there. She’ll never be truly happy or feel secure the rest of her life. Pray nothing like this ever happens to you or your loved ones.
she was in shock
chaos and confusion
And burocratism and too much “order”
@Resistence see if you could do better….easier to criticize
In the days, and months to follow I expect a lot more video to be released, and none of it will be encouraging to say the least…… This can never, EVER be allowed to happen again……
Still hiding the videos from before the collapse?
Then post the videos if they exist?
Wdym?
The video that shows the collapse.. why is it so heavily edited? Why does it start right when the building falls? Why not show the entire thing unedited?
@Oppressed Speaker of truth What video are you talking about, because the only videos at the time of the collapse im seeing are from other businesses security footage.
“What’s wrong with her?”
A building fell on her wtf you think is wrong with her…
I think he was asking to determine what type of injuries she may have. Sort of assessing the situation so he can prioritize.
@amrogers4 yet he wasn’t any help to anyone 😒
@Crer007… In that short segment we saw, no. But yeah, I’m sure he totally neglected to help afterward, too. Probably went home 😐
“I’m the building president. If you need something?” Well, you’re a bit too late.
Forreal, what would they possibly need from her at this moment 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
She’s not going to get elected again next year
Investigators: We have a few questions about the building maintenance history.
When she said that I was thinking HOA building president, possibly…🤔 If so, where’s the money they’ve been collecting monthly from each unit owner? What repairs have been made to the building? Which companies did you hire to do those repairs? I know there was a lot of confusion going on at that point and they didn’t even know exactly what had transpired. Some people say it was an act of God. I say it was a poor building design coupled with maintenance neglect. And what little maintenance that had been done on the property was cheap patch work. I almost wonder if they had even hired companies that were insured and or licensed. 🤔
The building President knows the arrangement of the building, how many units are in it, etc. This particular building President was left holding the bag. The residents of this building had fought the condo association on maintenance costs for years, so they just kept putting bandaids on it. What forced their hand was the 40 year certification…they ended up having to take out a $15M loan to pay for all the work that had been deferred for so long. This work just started last month. Previous building presidents had given up…and even sold out and moved. At least this building President stayed and managed to get the residents to agree on the necessary repairs. I can’t blame her for the fact that it turned out to be too late. The Surfside building inspector told them back in 2018 that the building was in very good condition.
Seems like everyone was going so slow. Why not quickly try to get these people out of the rubble that are screaming help
Too bad they didn’t have you there to direct everyone. 🙄
Pulling out rubbles with no guidance or proper tools Risk further collapse
With what? It literally just happened. They were still trying to figure out what was happening. They also didn’t know when the rest of the building would collapse
And what would you have done differently?
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Fox news: its the black woman’s fault
Tucker Catlson: I agree
So sad
I think That’s that same security guard that that family ran to when they first heard the rumble.. They all made it out… Quick thinking saved them. 😩. This is horrific
Can you tell me a bit about the story? I haven’t heard about it.
@ijustneedmyself there was a family that ran out to the security guard. They heard the initial garage collapse… Maybe their apartment is on a lower level. Not sure! Anyway they ran out just before the collapse. Her quick thinking got them out in time.
@Latisha Youngblood Yes that was the family in 111, right above the bottom of the garage ramp the tourists from across the street shot that Tiktok video. Their living room was directly above that rubble pile in the basement. They thought it was someone doing construction late at night, and went to the security desk to complain about all the racket.
Tbh just like 9/11
It’s all not real they used bombs it’s so not real
Please take your meds and stay of social media. You are helpful to no one in your condition.
Yes, because buildings cant possibly collapse due to cheap building materials and absolutely no maintenance whatsoever, next to a beach, where the wind is constantly blowing water and sand, and not to mention hurricanes. Building also cant make a big loud bomb when they collapse, so it HAS to be a bomb. Please take off your tinfoil hat.
the fires and water killed a lot of those first surviving the collapse i believe
Unfortunately… 🙁
I never understood why there was fire.
@J Diddy electronics and wires burst
Im surprised Dan Bilzerian didn’t show up with a buddy recording him trying to help the rescue workers
Can u Imagine? even the walls on the board walk were cracked talk about neglect. I never liked this architecture for a building with parking garage built underneath. Its like 4 legs on a chair. what happens when one of those legs breaks?
same, plus the section that went had its legs going BELOW sea level, ie in the ~underground garage which really just compounded the damage potential exponentially.. 😓
They are so brave.
😪
Wow. I started to cry right off on the get go watching this. It is palatable. Warning a bit intense!
Yes me too not that I have forgotten about it but it brings me back to that same night I saw it on the news it breaks my heart 💔
@Saharah Chin ,D
What could the cops snd firemen do??? It was a messs !!! How horrific all those people screaming stuck ! 🙁terrible awakening to such confusion etc ! Someone needs to be held accountable! This is a tragedy ! Poor people! Just sickening it could have been prevented but either lazy or money influenced someone or someone’s to not make this building safe
So scarey the cops snd firemen had to go in the other buildings that could still fall , reminded me of the twin towers ! ❤️🩹
God I can’t imagine the horror these people felt. So heartbreaking 💔 my heart goes out to the families and victims 🙏🙌
So they are just releasing the footage months later…yeah ok…so the corrupt government can look it over and approve the footage only they want out. This was a demolition McAfee was wacked and the 4 police officers who responded to the capital building were NOT suicides people…wake up
So sad…i think of my 69 yr old mother who is very slow due due to her bad knees and how i dont think she could have ran to save her life or even made it down the stairs…so many people didnt even have a chance to save themselves they simply perished.
Hey just a coment… my mom get her knee fix by surgery implants now she does excercise and move freely, your mother is younger than mine she could do the same. Just my opinion.
And the worst part is that it happened when most were asleep and didn’t even have a chance to try and escape.
Quite unusual for firefighters to order _police_ off-scene. Just shows how dangerous that scene really was. Not to mention their courage for going in there with a looming structure above them that could collapse at any time.
@Moonwater LM Lots of cases in which cops arrest ambulance personnel en route to the hospital.
No doubt these fellows are heroes.
@Benny Goodman Oh of course that happens, but generally speaking, on EMS calls, paramedics can have authority over anyone at the scene, including police
@Moonwater LM That’s correct. I used to run EMS. I had a patient once who was in a car accident and arrested on suspicion of DWI. On the way to the hospital, I told the cop that he had to take the cuffs off. He didn’t like it but he sure as did it!
@Jill Featherman I had a bad experience too I’ll never forget, the injury required a traction splint for a femur fracture, patient didn’t want it & had one long slow miserable ride to the hospital.
I agreed with the patient but was not an EMT then, a big mistake for sure
Yes Pull fire Alarm Get people out ASAP
That might help for the building that was still standing but for the collapsed building, by the time she knew about it it was already too late.
Cops Are ridiculous 🙄and Being Told what Not To DoDa
This was bad, alright: but when does the assigning of responsibility and people getting sent off to jail begin? THAT’S the big story now. I’m much more interested in that than the number of millions of dollars connected to anything about it, but I’m sure we’ll hear plenty on the topic. I hope people “in charge” are financially RUINED as well as being convicted felons.
Unfortunately I don’t think anyone will go to jail, It will be a combination of poor management, neglect, poor renovations, and just plain bad luck over a number of years.
@Jeremy Covelli Much neglect but not bad luck, except for the residents. Bad luck is not considered during a judgement, but the skill level and adherence to building code of maintenance and renovations will be.
All those cries.
🙏🏽
Wow really highlights how unprofessional the American police is
How? A building just collapsed. What do you mean?
😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏💖💗❤💝💞💕.
😱😳 oh my this really heartbreaking 💔😭
The building president should have made sure the residents were not living in a death trap, long before this.
Only so much a president can do if the condo owners don’t want to pay for repairs. If you read her letter from April ‘21 it looks like she was trying her best to move the project forward despite years of arguing and stalemates.
@JonI fear this is only the beginning of situations like this, in places like coastal Florida.
So sad.
Omg. It’s heartbreaking 😢
Loll
We really need to give the security guard Shamoka Furman an award. She is a hero.
Agree. One of the local Miami TV stations has posted an interview with a GoFundMe link for her. See the bottom of the page: https://www.local10.com/news/local/2021/08/04/surfside-security-guard-describes-climbing-through-rubble-to-escape-building-collapse/
@suncam57 dope! Thanks mate.
So all the cop did the whole time was walk around asking questions, but didn’t attempt to help a soul. Not surprising😑
Did you miss the part where the firefighter ordered them to stay away and he asked her, “Is there anything I can do to help?” And she said, “No, just keep people out of the perimeter.”
I’m not the biggest fan of cops, but there was literally nothing that cop could do except take witness statements.
I could only imagine a couple of worse situations, 9/11 or Grenfell in London a few years ago…
Been following Grenfell investigation. Commonality is owner hiring maintenance / construction who hand off to others without oversight, instead relying on expertise of those hired.
The Hyatt Walkway Collapse.
As a responder, I wouldn’t even know where to start!
This is so sad to wztch
“Is something wrong with her”?!??
So many questions and little help
This is what happens when you cut corners……
My God have mercy Jesus. 😢🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️The screams of agony
He never helped anyone and more than likely never existed
Omg so sad and sound scary. Kudos to those that try to save others.
I dont even know how i made it out 3.55, that made my tears drop , GOD save you that’s how u made it out.
a better god would’ve saved all the KIDS, or _everyone_ 😑
those people knew what they signed up for
I can only pray those who died did so in an instant without any conscious thought or pain. Lord have mercy on their souls and their families… while this rocked me, I can’t begin to imagine their grief or anguish ☹️😣
The responders, rescuers, bystanders, and security guards — hats off to ‘em. Praying protection and many blessings for them! Oceans of love to everyone from Texas 🤙🏽💙
Funny, the gangs that run the favelas build 7 story buildings out of correlated iron and cheap stuff like that, and rent them out, and they never collapse because the gangs take care of them because they care about their tennents.
He heard a boom boom. You know what makes boom boom sound? 💣💣
fk living in buildings
Those poor people who died in there 🙏🏾🕊💔
At 1:28 sounds like the security guard says “some type of EXPLOSION”
A building collapsing like that does sound like an explosion. I’ve witnessed both, and without the trained ear, sound eerily similar.
@Rhonda Arnesen yes but the other security lady described hearing 2 boom sounds followed by the sound of the building collapsing. Idk
She heard boom 💥 boom 💥 boom and then prrrrr down?! Hmmm 🤔
all I see and hear is trama. God Bless everyone affected by this unfathomable event.
“The deadliest building collapse in Surfside FL” how about the deadliest building collapse in the US
Nope. The deadliest non structural failure is the Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse, which killed 114 people and injured over 200. This Collapse only killed 98 people. The deadliest building collapse, however, in US history is the World Trade Center Collapse that killed over 2,000 people. This however will probably be on the list of deadly building collapses, but its not the most deadliest.
This is so hard to watch
I could not walk away from people screaming for help no matter my safety.
“Is anybody down there injured”..yes, a building just collapsed on them. That poor security guard was still in shock and disbelieve, she probably didn’t realize how close to death she was till she exited the building too.
WTF another building?
I in no way mean for this to sound cruel, but if the people that were still in the building did not get rescued, I hope their death was quick. And I hope the people that were yelling for help all got out. My heart breaks for all the suffering they endured. God, please have mercy on their souls. Give peace to the survivors.
I can’t watch this lord have mercy 🙏🏾😭😭🤦🏽♀️ I’m sorry
The security guard did more than the officers I guess that’s what you call providing assistance Florida for you
I don’t think the rescue did a good job, I some people were a life but the took to long in getting to them😢😢💔
Crazy
