Unfortunately, the use of Gasoline is something that needs to go away as it is technically burning oil which we need to do away with thanks to the CO’2 it produces. Better to move into getting longer lasting batteries or other technologies.
Co2 is .004% of our atmosphere. What are you worried about?

You know what is worse than co2? LITHIUM
So I can plug my car at night and never have to fill up unless I drive out of town… This seems too difficult,I should go back to gas and fill up every week.
Until you go on vacation and a 5 hour drive in an ice vehicle takes you 8+ hours in an electric vehicle .
Or you want to go somewhere and a snowstorm hits and your Range drops to 100 miles.

Should’ve had hybrids a long time ago. Toyota was smart in introducing the Prius.

the author is still hangup on range, charging time, etc.. he keeps on forgetting that ICE vehicles emits dangerous gases, even hybrids.. & soon, lots of countries are banning ICE cars sales very soon.. which means there will no longer be any market even for hybrids..
